13.01.2022 In other news, I'm pleased to announce my redesigned and completely revamped website: http://motifwebs.com It's based more on quality than quantity with significantly fewer pictures than the 10,000+ on the old version. I would be grateful if people could check it out and let me know of any issues, although I have tested it in numerous browsers. However, I don't expect it to work brilliantly on phones, but then they're not really a great way of viewing quality pictures.... Thank you all for your support. Oh and the CompetitionImages site is next for a makeover.

12.01.2022 Went for a drive to Oxley Creek Common, a wonderful wildlife preserve in the heart of an industrial area here in Brisbane. Didn't many to get many great pictur...es, in particular all the little birds like fairy-wrens and the like were too fast and active for me today. Oh well next time. However, did get some nice shots of this friendly little Red-browed Finch (Neochmia temporalis). See more

11.01.2022 Now that I have transport again, I went for a drive to Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens on a very windy and very hazy/dusty day. Not much in the way of interesting birds, so I tried to take a couple of interesting images of what was there.
