20.01.2022 Wedding Diaries recently listed the top ten wedding videographers on the Gold Coast. Have a look and see where they rank us

07.01.2022 Ever thought about having a videographer during your family portraits? Seeing how you and your littles ones interact and of course hearing their laughter is something that complements photos so well. Not long ago I teamed up with my good friend Ben as he documented Chloe and Michael's annual family photos. We had such a blast and were gifted with an incredible sunset. ... If this is something you'd like for your own family you can contact Ben or myself: [email protected] www.motionart.com.au Field + Forest Photography https://fieldandforest.com.au/

19.12.2021 Can't believe this was eight years ago. Happy anniversary Bethany and Adam. Such a stunning wedding and my first ever trip to Hawaii.

14.12.2021 A well written article that sums up the state of the wedding industry right now. Many people wouldn't know that lockdowns / restrictions in other states effect weddings here in QLD as well. When family members living in Melbourne and Sydney can't travel many couples choose to postpone their wedding. Some of my couples are on their third wedding date now with no end in sight. ... The last lockdown that just passed here in SE QLD was announced Saturday morning. Imagine a bride waking up on the day of her wedding, thinking you finally got your window of opportunity to get married, only to hear the news a short while later you had to wrap things up by 4pm. Many of my friends and colleagues running small businesses are reeling. Some are at the breaking point financially. I think many of us feel like we just want to be heard. We want to have the same support and acknowledgement other industries seem to be getting. I can't speak for anyone else but I don't feel like I'm even being considered by elected officials.

24.11.2021 Three years ago at Christine and Jonathan's engagement shoot in Glencoe, Scotland. Majestic doesn't even begin to describe this place and filming here is one of my all time favourite memories. Photos by Ben and Hope Photography.

06.11.2021 "No relationship is all sunshine, but two people can share an umbrella and survive the storm." Shaun and Nick braved the elements during their wedding shoot in Currumbin Valley and it resulted in some incredible footage and photos. Unfortunately it's hard to hold a camera and an umbrella at the same time so I got drenched from head to toe. Fortunately though there was a fireplace at their reception ... This epic, behind the scenes photo was taken by Ben and Hope Photography (and will most likely end up hanging in my office!) https://benandhopeweddings.com.au/

02.11.2021 Four years ago I had the privilege of filming Suzie and Alan's wedding held on a private estate on the northern Gold Coast. The couple originally planned to marry in June that same year, but they moved up their date so Suzie could undergo cancer treatment sooner. The day went off spectacularly. They were married under one of the most impressive trees I've ever seen with friends and family travelling from across Australia to witness their vows and celebrate their union.... They decided to keep their June date as well but this time they had a more intimate party (not shown). Suzie and Alan invited both myself and my then two year old daughter, Isla, to attend. I have footage of Suzie holding Isla's hand that day as they walked around the property and Alan riding a miniaturized train with her as she excitedly blew the conductor's whistle for the entire ride. Sadly, Suzie lost her battle with cancer 18 months later. Her kindness, warmth and generosity are just some of the things I fondly remember in the short time I knew her.

30.10.2021 A ton of laughs shared at this wedding and working with Ben is always a pleasure

13.10.2021 Cassandra and Phil had originally set their wedding for September last year but COVID delayed those plans. Despite the rain on their new date it was a day well worth waiting for. 27.09.2021 His reaction. Something every bride thinks about a thousand times before her wedding day. The walk to the chapel at Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm is a bit longer than most which gave Jasmine and Kurtis more time to soak in this much anticipated moment.... 15.09.2021 "Geoff is not only professional at an elite level, but is so relational and communicated brilliantly leading up to our wedding." "Thank you Geoff for not only capturing moments, but capturing our best moments and the emotions surrounding them. Our videos are truly a gift to treasure!!!" Vita & Luke... 13.09.2021 It's hard to sum up this past year with just a few words or photos and like everyone my 2020 was full of highs and lows. Feelings of uncertainty, stress and tears but also hope, love and fatherly pride. Being forced out of work due to Covid allowed me time to reflect on what was truly important to me, reconnect with old friends and devote my attention to my daughter. Suddenly gone were the long hours filming, editing and answering emails. They were replaced with making school... lunches, attending play dates and helping with homework. Isla had her own, unique challenges to work through but she finished her first year at school strong. As a parent you always wonder if you're doing enough or doing things right, but to see her conquer those hurdles especially during such a strange year fills me with joy. I could have never imagined the many other silver linings that would emerge over the past year. From the discussions I've had with friends and family it seems everyone has come away with a new outlook or a new direction heading into 2021. Happy New Year.

05.09.2021 As a father this hit me right in the feels

27.08.2021 Five years ago and my first time in Fiji. Filming a wedding alongside Gitte and Ropate from Kama Catch Me. The couple's wedding ceremony was held in a tribal village which allowed me to experience so much of the local culture. Tribal dancing, drinking kava with the village elders and exploring the lush countryside are things I'll never forget. I might have been a tad overdressed especially filming in the thick humidity
