This has been a project of mine and my family's for a long time now and we can’t wait to open our doors to a community of like-minded individuals who strive to live and be the best versions of themselves. 02.01.2022 MENTAL GAME For some, its as simple as flicking a switch. For others, it’s is our biggest hurdle when it comes time to compete. Our tips ... Keep it simple. Competition is full of uncontrollable variables, don't make things harder by worrying about whats out of your control. Focus and give 100% of your attention to what you CAN control. Know yourself. Everyone operates at different optimal levels of arousal for competition, so what’s your optimal level? Typically, extroverts operate best at a higher level, and introverts at a lower level. Find what works - maybe retreating and practicing meditation, or listening to pump up music, or socialising and getting revved up. It makes a difference. Focus on the process. A good game of ANYTHING is all about making the least amount of mistakes. You have prepared well and done the work. Focus on the steps and doing those well, the results will follow #movewithmotion #programthemotion

01.01.2022 SIZE GROWTH Our top 3 tips for putting on size during your rugby pre season. Tip 1: Most important first. When it comes to putting on size your body needs fuel to grow. Consulting a dietitian or a nutritionist and getting them to help you with nutrition guidelines and goals will back up your training and set the building blocks for gaining muscle mass.... Tip 2: Don't forget your craft. Even during a Hypertrophy stage (muscle gain stage) you should prioritise movements which are both functional and relate to the movement patterns of your sport. Tip 3: Stay safe. Yeah, obvious, right? But keeping it simple and focusing on movements within your skill set with good form is the priority. Quality movement makes for effective training.
