20.01.2022 A massive thank you goes out to these three beautiful and amazing ladies (Bec, Ash & Izzy), who have been helping me deliver the Motivation Station Group Fitness pamphlets in the Lower King Area. Your support has been phenomenal and very much appreciated! :-D Xx

16.01.2022 Hi All, Maternity leave lasted a little longer than I had originally expected, but 4 months post-baby and I'm feeling ready to take some clients on again. My official start date will be the 1st of July 2015. At this stage, there will be limited spots available for one-on-one and small group training as I will be mainly focussing on Group Fitness Classes. Please PM me or text or phone on 0416970046 if you are interested in booking some sessions.... Group Fitness classes will be starting on 15th July 2015 on Wednesdays at 5:15pm and Saturdays at 9am at the Flinders Park Primary School Assembly Area. Stay tuned for more details. Thank you, Jemma :-)

16.01.2022 Sometimes it's great to be up at 6am as the sky seems to be putting on a show lately! This photo was taken this morning at Jess and Kylie's session. Spring is just around the corner - it's getting lighter earlier and the mornings aren't as cold anymore so no more excuses for not getting out of bed early to get active!

16.01.2022 It was a beautiful morning in Albany for an outdoor session with my client and good friend Naomi Bell. Levi was enjoying being outside also, helping mum out with her session. He obviously believes in living a balanced lifestyle, hand feeding mum a bit of biscuit for every crunch that was done :)

13.01.2022 Hi Everyone, For those of you who don't know, I am currently on maternity leave. Baby Mikayla Jane Foy was born last Sunday 8th Feb and we couldn't be more thrilled to finally have her in our lives. The length of my maternity leave will depend on how things go with the new bub. I will let everyone know when I am back and ready to take clients again. ... Please feel free to send enquiries through on this page and mobile 0416 970 046, I may just take a little longer getting back to you. Thank you, Jemma :-)

08.01.2022 Yesterday I was keen for a good workout, so I decided to try some bits and pieces from programs that I have put together recently. Some of you may find them in your sessions soon - might even try something similar for Group Fitness (modifications will be provided) :-) First circuit consisted of 5x continuous rounds of: 30x Double-unders 5x Dips... 5x Burpees 5x Kettlebell highpull 5x 1-legged squats/leg (weighted) 5x Rock the boat (abs) Second circuit consisted of 5x continuous rounds of: 30x Double-unders 5x Tricep pushups 5x Burpees 5x Kettlebell swings 5x Bulgarian spilt squats/leg (weighted) 5x Double leg extensions (abs) That's 300 Double-unders!! And yes, it hurt.. lucky I had my bubba cheering me on :-) I was really proud of myself as I was timing each round and getting faster and faster and I hadn't done any double-unders since I was first pregnant. Don't forget, only 11 days until I'm officially back to work, so contact me now to book your sessions in!

07.01.2022 It was a busy day today.. It started with Group Fitness at 9am at Flinders. The ladies did very well and definitely got a good workout in :-) Since it was such a great morning, we headed out to the Porongurups National Park and completed as much of the Devil's Slide walk as we could with our bubs. It was a bit too slippery to take her too far up the granite, but we got to the first good lookout which was unreal! When I got home I cooked Chicken Pot Pies with grain-free pastry... for dinner (Quirky Cooking recipe made in the Thermomix). We LOVED the filling, but I will be tweaking the pastry. I think this is a great and very healthy alternative if you like chicken pies. Recipe can be found on the Quirky Cooking Website if anyone is interested in giving it a go. I finished the day with a walk with my mum as we delivered some Group Fit pamphlets and got to witness a beautiful sunset. Hope you all had an active start to your weekend!! I will be starting my Sunday with one of my challenge workouts - can't wait :-D See more

07.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just thought I would check in to make sure you are all staying active out there. I hope so! I am finally feeling ready to get back into my own resistance training (11 weeks, post baby) and have completed 2 training sessions so far this week.. sore is an understatement, but I am loving it!!... I am starting off slow and steady as I haven't done HIIT or much resistance training since I was 20 something weeks pregnant, so it has been a while and I definitely don't want to injure myself. Yesterdays session included one of my squat challenges, which will be quite familiar to most of my clients out there.. 10 squats, 10 jump squats, 9 squats, 9 jump squats, 8 squats, 8 jump squats... and so on until you reach 1 squat, 1 jump squat. This needs to be completed without stopping until you reach your last jump squat. It hurt, but I did it! I used to go back up the ladder to 10 squats, 10 jump squats, but I think I will work my way up to that slowly as I need the use of my legs to walk my baby around all day long ;-) Shouldn't be much longer until I can start taking clients on again, but until then I will keep you posted in regards to my own exercise regime to hopefully motivate you all to keep exercising or to start up again. Jemma :-)

07.01.2022 Group fitness classes starting Wednesday 15th of July. Register below, private message or phone on 0416 970 046 to book your spot. $100 for a 5 week pass - that's $10 per session!

07.01.2022 I got some time to experiment in the kitchen over the weekend and after tweaking a few recipes I came up with this healthy muesli bar that I'm very happy with. It's packed with protein and healthy fats and it's delicious :-) PM or comment below if you would like the full recipe. The main ingredients are: natural almonds and cashews, sunflower seeds, pepitas, rolled oats, coconut oil and some sour cherries and saltanas.

03.01.2022 Don't know about you, but I'm sore today!! The 'all over body ache' kind of sore. Loving it though! :-) Yesterdays workout was in a ladder format - down and up, and in total I completed 1100 skips, 110 KB highpulls, 110 squat jumps, 110 double unders, 110 pushups and 110 plie` squat jumps. My triceps were still sore from completing one of the drills with the ladies at Group Fitness on Saturday, so those pushups hurt, a lot! Looking forward to Kickboxing at Albany Fight Fit tomorrow morning :-) On another note, I wanted to share another Quirky Cooking recipe with you all that I have been making a lot lately. Creamy Chicken and Brown Rice Soup. I steam broccoli and brussel sprouts and pour the soup over the top. It is delicious! http://www.quirkycooking.com.au//creamy-chicken-brown-ric/
