24.01.2022 So as of 6pm tonight as you know the lockdown has ended but with new restrictions put in place by the government. As a business owner I must adhere to these new restrictions and have a covid safe plan in place. Below are the following ‘rules’ for all motiveacetion clients for the next 10 days in line with the government guidelines.... You will not necessarily be needing to wear a mask if we are training outdoors, but please have one with you as the weather here is very temperamental at this time of year and we may need to change it to indoors training at the last minute!! Thankyou all for your co- operation, and I will see you all on Wednesday

19.01.2022 NEWS FLASH Too Much Cardio Kills Curves!!! A lot of women panic about picking up their first dumbell in fear of getting bulky, and instead head over to the over populated treadmill area of the gym. I have nothing against cardio, I do cardio, cardio is super beneficial BUT if all you do is cardio without any resistance training your eventual physique is going to look nothing how you envisioned!... Look at long distance runners ... have you ever seen a curvy long distance runner ? Sprinters on the other hand ... short bursts of HIIT training combined with resistance is the way to go! It’s never too late to start resistance training, in fact it’s super important that you do because as we age if we ‘aren’t using it, we are losing it!’ and it has way more benefits than just how it shapes your body! 16.01.2022 Midweek Dinner Prep!! Chicken Fajitas in lettuce boats! Dice & Marinate The Chicken ... Slice the veggies Wash & Prep The Lettuce boats Then leave in the fridge till needed. Literally takes around 8 minutes to dry fry the chicken veg, fill the the boats and top with your favourite hot (or not ) sauce I’m using around 200 grams of chicken breast, marinated it with smoky paprika, chilli, garlic & oregano and a whole red capsicum and half a large green chilli for veggies! The lettuce is a whole medium cos and I will use Doritos hot salsa for toppings - Total Calories 375

14.01.2022 Hey!! So as you are all probably aware by now we have been slapped with a 3 day strict lockdown as of 6pm tonight ... So unfortunately this means the following will be cancelled - 1. Saturdays -7.30am Boxing 2. Monday’s - 8.30am Bootcamp... 3. Monday’s - 5.45pm Circuit Class 4. All Personal Training Sessions Stay Safe, Follow The Lockdown Rules and then we can reopen our business’s and get on with our lives ASAP Save this post as I will update it with any more changes as and when more government notices are made ... thanks guys

06.01.2022 Here’s a reality check post for you guys!!! So the first photo was taken just 11 days ago the second one was taken 5 minutes ago! I suffer badly for around 12 days of the month every month with PMS! I have a bowel condition also which makes the symptoms even worse, I am so uncomfortable and literally can’t fit into my normal clothes!... My period is due tomorrow and once it arrives can take several days still for my stomach to return to normal. Anyway the point in this post is to show women that these things as annoying as they are, are more common than you think, but most just prefer to hide that from the world and instead present you with edited images showing unrealistic perfections the whole month round which in turn can make the rest of us feel bad about ourselves ... so here’s me showing you my truth ... I don’t have abs all month round and I have no control over it, it’s not fat, I’m not unhealthy it’s just the way my body works unfortunately So remember - Bloating happens to us all, 90% of women have cellulite, roughly 80% of the population will get stretch marks and we will ALL get wrinkles at some point , ageing is inevitable #lovetheskinyouarein

When we deprive ourselves of the foods we crave and force ourselves to eat stuff we don’t like just because it’s lower calorie or healthier, for the majority of people it’s hard to stick to and you cave and binge!!! Stop dieting and start making small tweaks to your diet. By gradually reducing some foods and slowly increasing others you will find it much easier to stick to!... Below are a few swaps to help you consume fewer calories but still enjoy foods you crave - BIG MAC BURGER BOWL A Big Mac comes in at 566 calories! By dry frying 100g lean minced beef and adding it to a salad bowl of lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions gherkins , sprinkling of light grated cheese and even add some Big Mac sauce you can save a whopping 200+ Calories!
