24.01.2022 VDJ Cruiser with the lot. We fitted a ARB Bullbar, ARB side rails and steps, Safari Snorkel, second fuel filter and a full set of OME Suspension ready for a GVM upgrade.

19.01.2022 Fitted up a Safari Hi flow snorkel to a VDJ79 Cruiser today, as usual awesome fit and finish but WOW, the thing is huge. Massive air flow increase(with lots of mods to come).

19.01.2022 Quick update, we have moved to 353 Union Bridge rd, mobile phone reception is very poor but msges will get to us eventually. We will be on the NBN very shortly so can be contacted easily on facebook and will also have a landline within the next week or so. So, if you ring, leave a msg and I will get back to you. Will update with landline number as soon as we sort it out.

18.01.2022 Well, its been 8mths since we closed the doors, time flys. Some exciting news, we will be back in Tassie late November and RE-OPENING MOTO MECHANICAL in December. We will be based in Deloraine but offer full mobile work still to surrounding areas. We will still offer the same services and products - Caltex oils, Ryco filters, Redarc, ARB accessories(plus fitting), quality Japanese dirt bike engine components- just to name a few. We will still offer welding repairs(arc, mig and oxy) and modifications. So, pretty much all will be the same as before bar we will be based elsewhere. We also have a few new projects we plan on implementing in the new year, stay tuned.

17.01.2022 We are pleased to now offer on board EGR cleaning and diesel injector cleaning. If you own a later model diesel vehicle with a Exhaust Gas Reticulation system(EGR) we can now clean your intake and EGR valve on board restoring lost power and poor performance.(check out previous posts for blocked EGR pics) We can also run onboard diesel injector cleaning, again very important for common rail engines running huge injector rail pressure. Poor injector spray patterns caused by dirty injector tips can damage pistons resulting in engine failure. Give us a call to book in for one or both cleans and save a fortune in future engine repairs.

16.01.2022 Little mod to a caravan I done today. To solve a dark cupboard, I fitted a limit switch to door and installed a LED strip light. Open door, light on, close door, light off.

14.01.2022 Ok peoples, a update on reopening on the 1 Dec We wont be Deloraine based after all, we will be Mole Creek area based. We will still be a mobile service catering for surrounding areas as before. 14.01.2022 This is a EGR valve/intake from a late model diesel with 120000lms on the clock. Slightly carboned up before being cleaned. You will find this on any late model diesel if you open up the intake/egr.

08.01.2022 Starting tomorrow, Moto Mechanical will be operating as a mobile service, we have moved out of workshop at Chudleigh. We will still be stocking the same automotive accessories, still supplying and fitting ARB gear, Caltex oils and will still be doing mechanical/welding repairs. However, we will no longer supply,repair and fit ATV/4WD/car tyres and instead of carrying a supply of batteries, we will order them in as required. Phone number remains unchanged and we have mobile Eftpos (as long as there is phone reception) to pay accounts.

06.01.2022 Pre trip make over on a VDJ Landcruiser today. 200w solar panel mounted on canopy controlled by a Redarc BCDC1225 with auto solar selection. Then a set of airbags were fitted with in cab controls, can pump or deflate each bag separately and safely from the drivers seat. Air supplied by the ever reliable ARB compressor

05.01.2022 Just to keep all my customers in the loop, the workshop has been sold and I have been asked to vacate by June 2, this is a month earlier than the original plan. Ill try my best to get jobs done as quickly as possible while madly packing/moving and will be mobile in no time.

02.01.2022 Ever had a dream of doing something awesome but kept putting it off until it was too late? Well, were not going to let that happen to us. At the end of the year we are closing Moto Mechanical and going on a year long working holiday around Australia. We will continue to operate out of our current workshop until end of June, then will offer a mobile service until December. Bring on 2016.
