25.01.2022 Bit of eye candy and running true......

22.01.2022 Suzuki GS 1000 ST build of 2019. https://youtu.be/pmCGCIhPKNw

21.01.2022 Bit of spare time so converted Triumph Tiger Cub to positive earth. Cleaned out oil tank and filter. Changed gearbox oil. Took out Dizzy and found the shaft was rusty and didnt spin easily. Clean up, install and fires up easy now.

21.01.2022 Tiger cub clutch has seen better days. Now I know why the kick start didnt engage!

21.01.2022 Triumph Tiger Cub just about finished. Waiting on a couple of parts from UK. Heres a walk-around. https://youtu.be/fUIZL_NKAGk

20.01.2022 After a few hours (days) trying to sort out the gearbox on the BSA B21, we finally cracked it and we made a step by step pictorial YouTube vid of the assembly. Pretty boring I guess but I couldnt find anything on YouTube to answer my questions so I made my own........ https://youtu.be/lrLxEKb19sE

20.01.2022 Big day today getting Tiger Cub running and valve adjust to BSA B21. After we set valves it started first kick, but no camera....Grrrrrrr. Big thanks to Skunks for help.

19.01.2022 Tiger Cub runs ok.

19.01.2022 New posters arrived! These go straight to the poolroom.

19.01.2022 This stuff tests ya brain cells. Runs true on first attempt.

19.01.2022 Frame back from powdercoat. Carbies back together and calipers flushed out and lick of paint.

17.01.2022 Keeping up with our "theme" bikes, we had the John Player Special, tributes to Barry Manilow, David Bowie aka Ziggy Stardust and Jimi Hendrix. Now we have a tribute bike to Jorge Lorenzo with the Repsol Honda Postie Bike! Finished up real nice and rides great (under strict supervision naturally). Check out the walk around video https://youtu.be/u-juHUpjsk8

17.01.2022 Fork seals changed this arvo on DT 125.

17.01.2022 Black down on Honda 80 tank and Jorge's fender and hubs.

17.01.2022 XS250 manual says 2000cc of oil which I did, but drained out over 4000cc? Where does all the extra oil go or come from? Is it fornicating in the sump?

17.01.2022 The REX is back together. Wonder if its time for a new owner? Maybe not......

15.01.2022 Engines out and frame cleaned down ready to send out.

15.01.2022 This is no bullshit or setup, the trumpy started first kick! It was a bit lumpy though!

14.01.2022 Change of pace......Tiger Cub is finished, just waiting for tank pads from UK. BSA is being packed off the Northam. Time to tackle REX starting issues before it goes out the door.

14.01.2022 Another Triumph in the shop. Looks like Ill be busy for a few months!

14.01.2022 XS 250 back in for oil change and check over.

14.01.2022 Parts still drifting in slowly from OS. New seat springs.

14.01.2022 Shed clean out today.

14.01.2022 Busy morning. Drop off frame to powdercoat, pick up new nuts & bolts, polish some bits.

12.01.2022 Here is a YouTube link of the build so far. https://youtu.be/ewjE4Eb8dr0 Still waiting on parts but got most of the bike assembled today. Still a lot to do before it goes to a new home. May just keep it for a few months though.

12.01.2022 Finally got the Tiger cub to hit the road.........so to speak. https://youtu.be/-eOH2JZduVo

12.01.2022 We are that close to finishing the BSA B21 I can almost smell the exhaust fumes. Did a little research in the 250cc B21. None were imported into WA and possibly none into Australia. The 350cc & 500cc models came in but the powers that be decided the 250cc was too small for our open roads. This particular one came in via Canada several years ago and must have been set up for flat track racing. The internals from what we have seen are all in very good condition. Having had the gearbox apart, the gears show little or no wear at all as did the gears in the engine. Well Ill take a break from the BSA as we got other stuff coming.

12.01.2022 On the home stretch of our B21. Clutch components installed. Tackling the problem with 'wet sumping' and pissing oil everywhere. Can put an inline tap but maybe only start the bike a couple of times a year, so I welded a drain plug to the sump plate. Put a litre of oil in the tank, go for a run, drain it and park it.....Easy peezy. Or I could just sell it!

11.01.2022 Bit of a clean up in the workshop. Thanks Randall for the help!

10.01.2022 XR 80 tank finished. All buffed a waiting for owner.

09.01.2022 From a bike with no electrics to a near roadworthy rider. On the home stretch.....We hope.

09.01.2022 Another bike hits the road for a new owner, our little Kwaka KZ250. Passed inspection with ease so pick up soon.

07.01.2022 Another piece of the puzzle comes together......Thanks to Andrew at Beyond Trim.

07.01.2022 Parts arrived for tiger cub. Clicked 3 clutch plates on order, got sent one. Another 3 weeks waiting. No rush though.

06.01.2022 Brake pedal on the BSA bent up to fit. It came off another model so drastic measures taken. Solid state regulator arrived but might keep original one on bike.

06.01.2022 Parts starting to turn up for BSA. New carby arrived. Im tipping speeds up to 40km/h will be reached now!

06.01.2022 Final walk around of the REX. Scrubbed up real well! https://youtu.be/I3HysCu2bQs

06.01.2022 Waiting on parts from UK so filling in time with a bit of bling for the little Cub.

06.01.2022 Modifications to the rear guard due to larger tyre. Lifted guard up about 15mm or 17/64ths with a couple of tabs. Fitted chain and guard. Tackle front wheel tomorrow.

05.01.2022 Now that the carby is fitted I recon top speed would be around 55km/h. Also I recon they must have been real short arses in 1939?

05.01.2022 Next job rocked up. Quick clean. Gotta get it back to Aussie standards.

04.01.2022 Busy today. Just a few parts still coming from UK but almost finished. Foot pegs finally fitted. Brake pedal fitted and adjusting screw fitted which wasnt original but I recon it needed one. Carby completed with air cleaner. Fitted new horn. May attempt a start up tomorrow and may even burn some rubber......bwaaaaaaaha!

04.01.2022 Who'd have thought you'd find a Mikuni manifold to fit a 1959 Triumph Tiger Cub in ya shed?

04.01.2022 More clean and polish.

03.01.2022 New chrome seat springs fitted.

03.01.2022 Doing a bit of travelling to and from Bunbury this week.........you see a lot of crazy shit! Ive dubbed this guy "The Hairy Arse Bandit". Stopped twice along the way, No visible plates?????

03.01.2022 Filling in time between jobs. New battery, picked the start switch cause its got no key and it runs. This is going straight to the poolroom!
