If you can please help the HSCC on Sunday 20th September can you please let us know by emailing [email protected] and to those that have replied we thank you very much for volunteering.

23.01.2022 Event Restrictions. As many of you may be aware, there is a Tasmanian Circuit Racing Championship on at Pepsi Max Baskerville Raceway this weekend. We are certainly living in unusual times and we must be thankful that we s...till are enjoying mostly a normal life, unlike other areas of Australia. Please keep an eye out on updates and stay safe.

20.01.2022 Another huge weekend at both our circuits. Pepsi Max Baskerville saw on Saturday a Tri South Tasmania Duathlon that even just watching wears you out and on Sunday the Hobart Sporting Car Club are holding the long awaited Time Attack event. And at the other end of the island at Buckby Motors Symmons Plains Raceway the Tasmania Motor Cycle Club are holding two days of motorcycling with round 4 of their circuit racing championship. How good is that............

18.01.2022 Tasmanian Circuit Racing Championship R2 Sun 23rd Aug. Entry list and program from the MGCCT ________________________________________________ Thank you all for entering Round 2 of the Tasmanian Circuit Racing Championship. We have 75 competitors, which is excellent.... Covid -19 has not made it easy for either the track owner or the organisers of the race meeting with Motorsport Australia and the Tasmanian guidelines. Motorsport Australia Return to Race protocols have included 6 extra pages that are required to be completed. It would be good for all competitors to go onto the MA website and look under the heading COVID-19. Hopefully, the further race meeting won’t be as difficult. Please be patient when you get to the Pit Area gate as you and your pit crew are crossed off and you will be given a wrist band, as Motorsport Australia require us to have names and contact number’s of all personnel in the Pit Area. Please take care when travelling as the weather forecast is not very favourable for early in the morning. Regards Zube (Bronwyn Zuber) Event Secretary MG Car Club of Tasmania Race Committee

17.01.2022 The biggest enemy for our circuits is water under the asphalt. Recently at Buckby Motors Symmons Plains Raceway we had a broken pipe, so we needed to bring in the best contractors to ensure we got the best result. We thank Neil Johnson and Phil Berwick for the repairs and Neil 'Snowy' Blair and his team of Rockit Asphalt for their care and attention of our racing surface.
