Juice half a lemon and set this aside To a small saucepan add: * the half lemon rind cut into small pieces * 3/4 cup water... * 1/2 cup sugar * 3 cinnamon sticks broken into smallish pieces * 8 cloves Boil this mix gently for 30 minutes Strain and add back to the rinsed saucepan Add 1 bottle (750ml) red wine Heat gently to drinking temperature (~ 60 degrees celsius) See more
