Dr Adam Smith is Deputy Chair of MOUA Pty Ltd, Managing Director of Reef Ecologic Pty Ltd and Adj Assoc Professor at James Cook University. He is a scientist and leader who has a life long commitment to the marine environment and a vision to make a positive difference for current and future generations. ... Adam has worked in multiple roles in research, consulting, management, not-for-profit and Boards and has authored over 55 scientific papers and books. Adam is a commercial diver with over 3,800+ dives. The inaugural sculpture in the Southern Hemispheres first MOUA - Museum of Underwater Art, the ' ' was installed in late 2019 alongside North Queenslands Strand Jetty. Modelled on local Wulgurukaba Traditional Owner Takoda Johnson, the Ocean Siren aims to inspire reef and ocean conservation and achieve positive environmental outcomes. ...
