06.01.2022 RECIPE INSPIRATION Nothing better than sitting by the fire, enjoying a huge and much needed downpour and feasting on some of our delicious oyster mushroom Ingredients:... - mix of oyster mushrooms - broccolini - goats cheese - tomato’s - balsamic (preferably caramelised) - bread of choice Directions: 1. Shred mushrooms into smaller pieces and place in a pan on medium-high heat. Add 1 cup of water to pan and cook until water has evaporated. 2. Add in a tablespoon or two of butter plus some olive oil. Pan fry until golden. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside. 3. Pan fry broccolini and tomato’s with a little oil until slightly charred. 4. Grill bread of choice grilled and buttered up (sourdough, cornbread etc. For Moula people- use thick cut Grizzer’s bread or Langtree’s frozen Turkish rolls). 5. Lather the bread in goats cheese, followed by tomato, mushrooms, broccolini and a good drizzle of balsamic. 6. 05.01.2022 WINTER WHITES The winter whites are growing like crazy at the moment. These guys are taking around 3 weeks to colonise the substrate and going from pins to fully formed clusters in around 5-6 days. They have a delicious but subtle flavour and are thick and meaty. They are ideal for barbecuing, soups, stirfrys and deep frying. ... IGA Xpress and Bundarra Berkshires are stocked up. Get in contact for any other locations.
