04.01.2022 I noticed this article on the ABC facebook page late last week. It suggests that funeral companies are not always doing the right thing by families who place their trust in them. Sadly, just like any other profession or industry, there are funeral companies that might just fit into this category. Many funeral directors whom I have met though, have one thing in common, to help people in their community during a really difficult time, with honesty, respect and dignity. Work...ing in funeral service for the past 36 years has provided me with many highs and lows. Being a funeral director is not simply a job, it is not 9.00 to 5.00, it is who you are, your identity, it is a calling, and it creates the lifestyle that you lead.
