23.01.2022 Update +notice of upcoming meetings: Hi MBTC Members! We hope everyone is keeping safe during this time. The MBTC Committee has been busy working through all the various challenges that have been raised and have been well supported by the team at Tennis SA and Tennis Australia. ... As we turn our attention toward next season we’ve got the following important dates to let you know about: 18 June 2020 Special General Meeting The MBTC Committee operates under a constitution, that hasn’t aged quite as well as the committee members, so we’d like to update it. The main changes relate to the terms of office and having staggered elections. 2 July 2020 Annual General Meeting As we gear up for another exciting tennis season, it’s time to nominate a new committee to steer us through. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering a few hours a month of your time then get in touch and let us know. All meetings will be held via Zoom. Please register your interest in attending by emailing [email protected] or by following the Facebook event. We’ll provide the links to join and the supporting documents ahead of the meeting. Stay tuned for more updates as we head towards warmer weather.

13.01.2022 Junior Club Training - starts Wednesday 14th October! MBTC Club Coach, Atilio Waltcheff, runs Club Training sessions for all green and yellow ball members. This hour of coaching is included within your membership fees and is a great opportunity to train with your team members. 10.01.2022 Club Open Day - Sunday 25th August Tennis season is just around the corner, which means it's time to start thinking about team nominations. We'd like nominations finalised by 31 August. We're holding a Club Open Day together with Junior Trials on Sunday 25th August:... Working Bee: 11am to 1pm BBQ Lunch: 1pm to 2pm Junior Trials: 2pm to 4pm All juniors who are wanting to play in the upcoming season need to join in the trial - if you're unable to attend the session on that day then please get in contact with us to make alternate arrangements.

02.01.2022 Membership registration is now open! If you're intending on playing in the 2019/2020 Summer Season then you need to register online by visiting: https://my.tennis.com.au/OnlineMembership/661429... Only players who have completed their online registration will be eligible to be included in the team nominations that we submit to HTA. Closing date for registrations is 8th September. 01.01.2022 MIXED DOUBLES PLAYERS NEEDED We’re so very close to being able to nominate two mixed doubles teams this season (one in division 2 and one in division 3), but we’re about two players short. If you haven’t played competition and have only ever played socially, then this is the absolute best way to get started! ... Nominations are due in the next couple of days, so let us know ASAP if you’re interested. You don’t need to even play every week, if we have a few people interested but can’t commit to playing every week, we can rotate players. Mixed doubles is played on a Saturday afternoon from 1pm and finishing around 5pm.
