19.01.2022 Yesterday the joeys and kookaburra children and Educators both came together to check on our worm farm and to tend to our garden. We saw that we have cherry and Roman tomatoes growing and we moved our pumpkin plant so it can grow bigger and hppefully produce some nice pumpkins.

06.01.2022 A small pot of maiden hair fern was given to me as a gift early in my time in Mossman FNQ. It terrified me. I love maiden hair fern but I had over the years managed to kill every maiden hair fern I'd ever been given, the chances of the survival of this one was precarious to say the least. I determined to be extra diligent so I watered and trimmed, regularly re-potted and prayed, oh how I prayed that I would not kill this one. God honoured those efforts and prayer and now I a...m able to share this plant with others each time I repot I can give some to others. This reminds me of the gifts God has given to us and I wonder how often do we kill them off. what effort and prayer do we put into them? How patient are we to see our gift grow and develop? This plant is now 5 years old and I still pray and and diligently care for it. Thank you Val C. for gifting me this plant, thank -you God that you have used it to teach me. This artwork represents the individual rooms of the Centre, the Possum room, Joey room, Kookaburra room, and Koala room all connecting to unify together as one big family.
