24.01.2022 Today being day 1 of Lockdown, I thought it would be useful to let the community know that your brigade and all others will still respond to emergency calls. Do not hesitate to call 000 for assistance as usual. Due to keeping you and ourselves covid safe, we will travel to and arrive at the incident wearing masks. Stay safe everyone. We can beat this again! Glynn Jackson - Captain Mt Pleasant CFS

24.01.2022 Training this week consisted of a burn off. Was a good cool evening for it. It serves as a reminder that the district is still dry so please be vigilant if you are having a burnoff. Ensure you constantly watch it, have adequate water available at the fire just in case you have a break out. Here are some images of the training. Please note the watching carefully, hahaha

19.01.2022 TONIGHT! I'm stupidly excited. Thanks to the 100 that already have tickets...there's about 20 more available if you've procrastinated. Absolute cracker of a night guaranteed. This is the place to be tonight...three of Adelaide's and one of the UK's best comics on stage helping to raise money for the CFS. Don't miss it!

14.01.2022 This evening we did a burnoff for a couple of great brigade supporters in Tungkillo. After yesterdays storms and rain and raining most of today, we had to really be persistant with the drip torch to get it going and keep it going. A happy result for the clients and ourselves. Thanks to Poet, Peter Phaup, Snowy and Snowball and Stubby for giving up your valuable time with me to get it done before Murraylands fire danger season commences on November 15th. Twiggy.

13.01.2022 Fire Danger Ratings are an indicator of how dangerous a bushfire could be if it did occur. It is not a predictor of how likely a bushfire is to occur. Do you know what the different ratings mean?

13.01.2022 On Tuesday afternoon Mt Pleasant 24 andn24P were called to assist with a grass fire at Springton. Aided by Farm Fire Ubnits who had stopped the forward rate of spread before appliances from Mt Pleasant, Springton, Eden Valley and Keyton arrived on scene. Basically we spent our time 'mopping up' and 'blacking out' makign the scene safe. Here are 3 pics of our crew mopping up. Conserving water as they went using sidelines from MP24
