We are proud of and grateful to all three, and to all Scouting Leaders across Tasmania, for their contributions to our community!

Justin found a PFD that had fallen out of the Mount Stuart kayak trailer following our snorkelling and kayaking outing to Tinderbox Marine Reserve and contacted us via FB to ensure it was returned to us. Justin is living the values of Scouting, and making our community a great place to live. Thank you, Justin, for your wonderful example! See you at the Bush Bakery!

04.01.2022 The Joeys had a fantastic outing to the Southern Regional Joey Event today! The event was to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Joey Scouts and was held at the Botanical Gardens. The Joeys worked their way around activity bases and then enjoyed a picnic afternoon tea and cake. The cake was cut by one of the youngest Joeys and Lee from Blackmans Bay who was Tasmania‘a first Joey leader.

02.01.2022 The Mount Stuart Scout Unit has been very active in the outdoors this term. Recent activities include bushwalking, orienteering, cycling, kayaking, snorkelling, pioneer construction, and lots more! Our Scouts practice the "out" in Scouting and OAS skill development!

02.01.2022 A great weekend was had by the Mount Stuart Cubs and Scouts up at the Lea fro JOTA-JOTI, with the Cubs having a combined camp out with the Sandford Cubs. It was a very wet Saturday and several of the tents got wet, but we had blue sky and warmer weather on the Saturday to allow several activities, including some abseiling
