22.01.2022 Good Friday has always been a busy day for us & today was no exception we've had a great day, lots of new faces as well as some who are becoming quite familiar including these 2 happy anglers....... Eirik from Launceston (age 10) who came out with his Pop this morning, & Samantha from Turners Marsh (age 9) Samantha's Rainbow Trout was heavier than the rest of her families fish all put together well done to both of you

15.01.2022 Another busy day today.... heaps of people out & about enjoying this beautiful weather we're having took this photo before things got too crazy.... these happy little fishermen came out this morning with their Dad & were pretty stoked with their catches, I forgot to get the boys names..... but well done to both of you

14.01.2022 We've had a couple of busy days so far this week.......& the weather has been terrific Today we had a group of about 50 in from St Thomas Moores Primary School..... they were a great bunch of kids (& Teachers, & Parents)!! For people in King Island, Furneaux Islands, Western, Upper Derwent Valley, South East, North East, East Coast, North West Coast, Central North, Central Plateau and Midlands Forecast Districts. Issued at 4:56 am Sunday, 18 March 2018. DAMAGING WINDS EXPECTED FOR ALL OF TASMANIA SUNDAY MORNING AND AGAIN OVERNIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING Weather Situation: A vigorous cold front will cross Tasmania around mid morning, followed by another cold front on Monday morning. DAMAGING NORTH TO NORTHWESTERLY WINDS, averaging 40 to 60 km/h with peak gusts in excess of 100 km/h, and up to 120 km/h in exposed locations, are possible across all of Tasmania during this morning. Winds will shift westerly behind the cold front from mid morning, then gradually moderate this afternoon, however winds are forecast to strengthen again late tonight and persist Monday morning ahead of a second cold front. Winds are then expected to moderate again during Monday afternoon. Locations which may be affected include Devonport, Burnie, Launceston, St Helens, Swansea, Strahan, New Norfolk and Hobart. In the last 6 hours Mt Wellington has reported 141km/h, Scotts Peak 133 km/h, Mt Read 104km/h, Hobart 102km/h, Maatsuyker Island 98km/h.
