The 2017 Port Hedland Open will be a 36 hole event consisting of two 18 hole rounds to be held on Saturday & Sunday. 2. The rules pertaining to Golf and the Local Rules of the Port Hedland Golf Club shall decide conditions of play for this event. The AGU rules for sand greens shall apply. 3. All entrants must have an Australian Handicap and be a Member of a recognised Club. 4. All disputes will be the concern of the Match Committee of the Host Club and its' decision/s shall be final. 5. All players must report to the starter 15 minutes prior to the indicated Tee-off time. Failure to do so could render a player liable to Tee-off at the end of the field or to be disqualified. 6. The entry Fee of $150 per player will include the Entrance Fee, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday and Sunday and Light Beers, Soft Drinks and Water on course for both days. Caddy fees as follows: 18 years and Over = $80. Inclusions as above. Under 18 years = $50. Inclusions minus alcohol. 7. Normal Dress Rules apply. 8. A current Doctors Certificate must be produced for players using Motorised Golf Carts. 9. No player is eligible to win more than one major prize. 10. In the event of a tie for first place in the gross event, the winner will be determined by a sudden death play off over holes to be stipulated by the Match Committee. All other tied placings, including nett awards, will be determined as per the Australian countback system. Scroungers: 1. A 9-hole Competition (Stableford) will be played on Friday 19th May. Latest tee-off time is 3.30pm. Cost is $5 per player. General: 1. As usual a Calcutta will be held on Saturday night at the Clubrooms at approximately 7.00pm. 2. Dinner will be provided on Saturday evening commencing from 6.30pm. Meals for partners will be available at $20 per head. 3. Breakfast will be available at the clubhouse on Saturday and Sunday with times to be advised 4. Presentation of trophies will take place at approximately 4-5 pm Sunday 21st May (depending on when last scores are in) and a BBQ will be held afterwards.
