22.01.2022 To all of our Clients It is with much sadness we advise that after almost 45 years of servicing the hills’ community, we will be closing for the final time at the end of February (unless we find someone to take over the business). We have reluctantly reached this decision after failing to secure an ongoing lease agreement, due to circumstances outside of our control.... Chris will be finishing on January 31st after almost nine years of dedicated service. Trina will be finishing on February 2nd after thirteen years of dedicated service. Andrew will be finishing on of February 26th after 43 years, with the last 25 years as owner and manager. We would like to sincerely thank all of our clientele, past and present, for your business, loyalty and friendship over the years. We also wish our loyal staff all the best in their future careers and know that they will be a big asset wherever they are. Trading hours will be reduced from February 4th while Andrew sees out the final few weeks. Approximate hours will be as follows: Mondays and Tuesdays: 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays: Closed Fridays: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00ish Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Please check Mountain View Hairdressing’s Facebook page for updates on where each of us will be working in the weeks ahead.

12.01.2022 At long last, after a few dead-ends and false starts, I will be getting back into Men's Hairdressing/Barbering, working a couple of days a week, starting Monday, July 22. Belzer Hair and Beauty are located at 48 Commercial Place, Drouin. It is next to the Westpac ATM in the Woolworths Car Park. My hours, for the time being, will be:... 11:00 - 5:00 Mondays and Thursdays. Other times may be made by appointment. Appointments can be made by calling 0498 465 768. I will be taking walk-ins and also appointments. I have a new dedicated mobile number for my clients, but bookings may also be made through the salon. Although I don't expect to see many of my former Belgrave clients, I will look forward to seeing those of you who may make the trip to Drouin. Andrew

11.01.2022 Thanks Sherbrooke Foothills Historical Society.

09.01.2022 The many talents of Trina extend far beyond her hairdressing abilities. Thankyou to Trina for this amazing cake to help me celebrate my . . . I think I've forgotten what I'm celebrating, but I will celebrate it that much better now with this fabulous creation.

07.01.2022 Just wanting to let our past clients know that Trina is now working at Colour Me In Hairdressing, 81 Monbulk Road, Kallista. Ph. 9755 1440. We wish her well.

06.01.2022 Well that's it! The day has finally come and gone. Thankyou for all the kind thoughts and gracious comments. I will miss Belgrave and the many clients I have had the privilege of getting to know over my 43 years working at Mountain View Hairdressing. You will probably never know how much your conversations have meant to me and shaped who I am. The line between customer and friendship has often been blurred. I have also been fortunate to have worked with many amazing staff ov...er the years, without whom the business would not have been what it was (and thanks Megan for the bookwork). My apprenticeship under Ray Jury seems so long ago; who would have envisaged just where that would lead? I will also miss my fellow traders in Belgrave, many of whom have become friends, particularly during my nine years (six as president) on the Belgrave Traders Association committee. I sincerely wish everyone all the best for the future and hope I might catch up with some of you in the weeks/months ahead.
