25.01.2022 Great to have these lads get through before the border closed. Here for 4 days. We spent yesterday at Hollybank and today at Derby. Half the group did a full Kings Wall circuit while the rest did Dambusters. After lunch we ran some Black Stump shuttles. Off to Blue Tier/Atlas tomorrow and the Bay of Fires on Sunday. Some of the group are here for the third time, first visiting just after Derby opened.

20.01.2022 Ian and Jerry spent the last 3 days bike packing on the Tasmanian Trail between Ouse and Geeveston. We needed to Recce the route before taking a group from MacKillop College on the trail in September. While mid winter isn't the best time for the trail we still had a great time. The added load of gear and food to ensure we were self sufficient for the 3 days made some of the hills quite hard work. However, that meant the many descents were a welcome change. Thanks to everyone that maintains the trail with regular markers and gains the required permission to cross private land.

20.01.2022 Both of our favourite activities in the same shot. There would be a number of places in Tasmania where this could be recreated. Very impressive riding.

14.01.2022 After 2 months off it is great to be back in operation as of today. Thanks to St Patricks College for getting the outdoor program off to a welcome start.

13.01.2022 With our large group multi day tours coming up it was time to spruce up one of our main trailers. Added an extra axle, converted the hubs to Subaru stud pattern, new Subaru wheels and finishing with a much needed repaint. We are finding the 'North Shore' securing system to be highly efficient while ensuring our guests top end bikes are well looked after while in transit.

13.01.2022 Today's participants in one of our Cataract Gorge Introduction to Outdoor Climbing Courses about to climb out from Feltham Buttress after abseiling to the base. We covered lots of methods to safely setup climbs, belay and abseil in this fantastic local area. This is an ideal course if you have been climbing in the indoor gym and would like to sample some 'real' climbing with a group of mates.

09.01.2022 Some abseiling into Honeycomb Cave near Mole Creek. Participants were part of a caving tour run by Wild Cave Tours. Great way to see a different part of Tasmania.

09.01.2022 While the current situation means we have to stay home this is a great time to reflect on past adventures and plan some new ones. Remote climbing is one of the most rewarding activities. This shot taken high up on Mt Geryon looking out at Walled Mountain. This was during the skyline traverse of this mountain which has 3 distinct peaks and is located in the Cradle Mt Lake St Clair National Park. We are spending the quiet time maintaining vehicles, bikes and equipment and will be ready to take you on an adventure of your choice as soon as the brakes come off.

08.01.2022 Join us for a combined day of Adventure. Caving in the morning followed by a free hanging abseil into another cave in the afternoon. Wild Cave Tours know their stuff.

06.01.2022 For those interested in climbing you can't get a better book than 'Adventures at the Edge of the World'. A hefty publication that you won't want to put down once you start reading. The stories from some of the early pioneers in the remote parts of Tasmania are very inspiring. See the link below to purchase a copy and have it delivered to your door.

04.01.2022 It's meant to winter but today's abseil site is exhibiting prime Tshirt weather. The girls from St Mary's College will have a blast dangling off this nice little cliff.

04.01.2022 If you are after some inspiration for your next outdoor adventure check the event below. It will online due to COVID so you watch in the comfort of your own home.

03.01.2022 A group of happy riders about to start the Tasmanian Trail at Devonport. They will ride our Scott Scale hire bikes equipped with racks and panniers all the way to Dover in the south of the state. We transported them to the start today and will meet them in Dover early next week for a transfer back to Hobart.

03.01.2022 Subaru rope storage compartment after a busy week at Freycinet last week with St Patrick's College. Unloading now and changing the colour combo for a different site back at Freycinet with MacKillop College for 3 days this week. In both cases we run MTB and Climbing/Abseiling.

01.01.2022 Here is a quick clip from one of our recent multi day tours showing the cruisy flow of the final descent on the Bay of Fires Trail. Wade and Ian were riding ahead of the group to get in place to take some footage of everyone going over one of the many jumps. The benefits of a guided ride. This tour included the following itinerary for a group of 10 riders. Day 1 Airport pickup then onto Hollybank Day 2 Blue Tier/Atlas... Day 3 Blue Tier to BOF Day 4 Flickity Sticks, King's Wall and Return to Sender prior to a return to Launceston Airport. See more
