16.01.2022 Charlie has been very welcoming of our new members ..he is always the first to come and inspect the arrivals and give them a friendly greeting over the fence.

16.01.2022 I was speaking to a wonderful woman yesterday and as we were talking it came to me that you might not know that at the moment even though we do have a 55 acre (approx) paddock, which will be the main turn out paddock, we are not able to use it due to it being severely covered in Patterson's curse! Possibly half of it! at this point the mares are in 2 smaller maternity paddocks... so consequently hard feeds every day and lots of hay! Which is really costing lots of money! ...Due to financial restrictions as well as time we need to have the Patterson's curse sprayed and then finish the fencing and cleaning the paddock up to get it ready for the mares, soooo, if anybody can HELP with this or knows someone like a weed contractor who has the know how to do this, and could do the spraying of the weeds that would be brilliant!! And it will take a load off our already demanding days!...we already have the weed killer and equipment ready to go! Also if you would like to donate to Southside Stock Feeds in Kilmore on our account, again wonderful! our GO FUND ME we would really appreciate that, anyone else out there who would want to sponsor one of our beautiful mares that would be amazing too. We currently have 30 sponsors which is great, thank you all so much for that, but it does not cover feed bills. We currently have 22 mares 10 foals, with another 8 to be born, River our surragate mother of Sparky and 14 boys!! 16.01.2022 Our vet checked our first filly, born this morning. The vet is happy. Looks like we have a healthy little filly.

15.01.2022 BRUMBY OF THE DAY CLEOPATRA our newest mare! She came with Odin, and helped him stay calm! We named her Cleopatra as she is so regal and takes her time, whilst observing what is happening! Cleopatra is up for sponsorship as she is also pregnant! What a beautiful mumma she will be!

07.01.2022 BRUMBY OF THE DAY This is Zoe, Zoe was one of the first Brumbies at the sanctuary, she came with Ela, Omeo and Bindi from Bago. She is a beautiful chestnut, with a small fleck on her forehead. Zoe is between 2-3 years, around 12.2 in height and pregnant. She has a calming nature and likes to hang with Bindi and Kalinda. We were devasted, but with the vets help and the amazing nurse Gabi...her knee is healed up and she is now in the maternity paddock settling in really well!
