We'll be at Lark Distillery tonight from 5, and I have a feeling the weather is going to be absolutely lovely by then, so come down for a margherita and a hot toddy! There will also be music and it will be good.

Excited to be heading down to set up at the final Street Eats Franko - gonna be a whole mess of great bands (Chupacabra and Hobart Funk Collective) and super food, and Jono and the crew will be smashing out tasty, tasty pizzas all night. 02.01.2022 On Sunday we will be setting up at this event to help out a family in their time of need. It shaping up to be a great event! There are so many things up for auction you're bound to find something for everyone. Full details below. On the 4th of May 2018, the Lowe family were thrown into turmoil with Tim Lowe being diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer. Tim is 35 years old and a loving father to his two young boys, an awesome husband to Kathryn, a beautiful son and brother alo...ng with being a fantastic mate to many. Unfortunately, Tim is unable to work and Kathryn has lovingly taken on the role as his carer along with looking after their two beautiful boys. Tim has just started a course of chemotherapy and will require ongoing medical support. We are all keeping our fingers firmly crossed that this can make some difference for the better. I personally have known Tim and his family for most of my life and we grew up in the small, close-knit community of Nugent in Tasmania. I and many others from Nugent and beyond are trying to raise enough money to take some of the financial pressure off the family so they can get on with living the life they want without the worries of money. We are organising an auction to help raise these much needed funds. The auction will take place on Sunday the 12th of August from 12 pm and will be held at Dodges Ferry Football Clubrooms. The first item will be auctioned at 1pm. There will be food and drinks available. And some things for the kids to do along with live music for all to enjoy! We'll be setting up at Lark Distillery this evening to provide pizzas to the hungry, while Black Swans of Trespass entertain the people with their excellent dress-sense and bluesy tunes. The forecast looks good, so come down for a whisky or a beer or a wine or a gin-and-tonic and some delicious pizza!
