05.01.2022 I am proudly a member of the @pilatesallieanceaustralasia (PAA). - The PAA is an independent regulatory body established by the Australian Pilates industry to ensure quality and integrity of the Pilates industry in Australia. - The PAA aims to foster the understanding among the public and regulation of quality Pilates instruction within studios and training programs. ... - Members of the PAA must complete a rigorous government accredited Pilates Training program (Certificate IV for Mat Pilates Instructors, Diploma or Adv Diploma for Studio Pilates Instructors) consisting of self mastery, observation and apprentice teaching hours. Ongoing training and professional development, adhering to the PAA Code of Ethics and an understanding of our scope of practice is required to maintain membership.
