24.01.2022 After an enormous year, you might be feeling a little like this as you head towards the 'silly season' but remember to STOP and REST and enjoy each wonder-filled moment with family and friends. Resting may not mean putting the feet up. In fact putting the feet up is rarely a thing we do at Christmas time! True rest is leaning on the knowledge that God has got you. He cares for your every thought. You can trust Him. He's got you!

23.01.2022 The changing face of Excursions... Our HSC Ancient History students participated in lectures on Pompeii and Herculaneum via zoom with Dr Brian Brennen. The Learning Must Go On!

18.01.2022 Remember this currency? Year 2 have been using olden day 1 and 2 cent coins as they apply mathematics to counting currency. Who remembers the wonderful 1c freckles? You could get a whopping 5 in a little white paper bag and feel like a winner!

18.01.2022 Our Year 9/10 Outdoor Elective class has been busy learning new skills this year. Quite sadly for them, their trip to the Snowy Mountains was cancelled due to COVID restrictions. So, in an effort to put some of those new skills to use (under strict COVID guidelines) Mr Bunton has come up with a way for the students to put theory into practice. Yesterday students enthusiastically left MCC under the warm rays of sunshine to spend the day exploring local mountain bike trails in ...Blackheath. On their return, stories of success were told and tales of woe relayed - again and again, however they all returned in one piece! Today, under a slightly cooler cloudy sky the students are here on the grounds of MCC testing survival skills - team against team, fire against fire (safety first of course with only 2 matches), shelter against shelter, culinary skill against culinary skill, sleuth against sleuth. A Mission Impossible!

16.01.2022 As we say goodbye to 1 legend - Mr Dale Killeen, who Im sure you would agree, turned the grounds of the College into an incredibly beautiful space for our students to enjoy, as well as constantly coming up with ingenious ways to sort out all types of practical problems; entertain staff with his mischievous character and be an all round fantastic man; we say hello and introduce you to another legend - Mr Ben May. Ben is married with 3 children, is a horticulturist by trade who ran his own landscaping business and has managed Camp Fletcher in Hazelbrook for the past 12 years. When we said goodbye to Dale we wondered how we could possibly replace him, yet God provided as always! Ben (and his beard) is a great blessing already and brings a huge wealth of skill and knowledge. Welcome to MCC!
