16.01.2022 Almost three weeks after a severe storm destroyed the daylilies with turbulent wind and hail they have bounced back and started the re-bloom common for this time of the year.

11.01.2022 After a mild winter the weather has warmed up enough for the blooms to get their colour back again and fully open Also been a lot of planting going on in the last couple of months!

09.01.2022 It’s nice to go to the nursery and enjoy the flowers, the cows and rolling green hills all around me but the world is changing in ways we never thought possible. We at Mountain View Daylily send our love to everyone out there reading this and wish you all the best in the tough months ahead. 03.01.2022 Many of our customers will remember Scott Alexander who started Mountain View Daylily Nursery over 30 years ago. Sadly Scott passed away in his sleep on Sunday. His passion for daylilies was a long legacy that he was happy to pass on to me as he knew I would keep it going the way he wanted. He taught me a lot and made the transition to running the business very easy. His ashes will be spread at a ceremony at Maleny Botanic Gardens where there is a permanent memorial and garden created for him.
