16.12.2021 Here are two paintings I’ve completed in this past week of which I am very pleased. I feel I’ve reached a pinnacle that I’ve been working towards for 12 months (since Covid-19). I am particularly pleased with the way they both have captured the spirit of place. You might ask how that can be when they are both so different in their mood; to which I would respond the belly of the mountains has many moods and it changes as the wind. I’m calling it my Spirit of Place Series and plan to have an exhibition later this year. Both are watercolour and ink on Winslow Aquarelle 200gsm 24x32cms (9X12)
