22.01.2022 Book Week 2020 CBCA Bookweek for 2020 is from 19 October to 23 October (Week 2 Term 4). The theme for this year’s Bookweek is Curious Creatures Wild Minds. Students received information about the CBCA Bookweek during library lessons last week. Stay tuned for Mount Annan Public School’s special events to celebrate Bookweek 2020.

We collaboratively decorated a Christmas tree which will be on display outside H&M from this weekend. 13.01.2022 The K-2 Athletics Carnival was a huge success yesterday. The students had a wonderful time doing the activities on a beautiful sunny spring day. A big thank you to Miss Ghosh and Miss Daniels for all their hard work in organising the COVID safe event and to the K-2 teachers for running the activities.

11.01.2022 Congratulations to Brynley who represented Sydney South West in the NSW PSSA State carnival at Byron Bay this week. He has been successfully selected for the NSW PSSA State Representative AFL team, a squad of only 23 boys chosen from close to 800. Brynley was also awarded the 2021 Sportsmanship and FairPlay award for all of Sydney South West. As a result of his State Representative selection, Mount Annan Public School will now be recognised alongside Brynley’s squad selection in the NSW PSSA AFL Australian Football Team History book. Brynley is the first child from Mount Annan Public School since squad selection began in the 1970’s. We are so very proud of Brynley and his achievements. Well done!!

07.01.2022 Congratulations to Mrs Jeffcott on her retirement from full-time teaching with the Department of Education. She has had a wonderful career and has inspired many in her time. Our school community has been lucky to have Mrs Jeffcott as a part of it for the last 25 years. Students, teachers and community members alike will certainly miss her kind, bubbly personality and creative nature. We know that Mrs Jeffcott will enjoy spending quality time with her family and we are pleased to say that we will be seeing her return to our school on a casual basis from time to time. Best Wishes, Mrs Jeffcott. You’re one of a kind!
