22.01.2022 Beautiful autumn colours in the trees now. Cloudy in the morning but beautiful sunshine by lunch time. Awesome time of the year to be travelling around the Mt Barker area.

He’s riding around Australia on a unicycle! Urgent note to all tourist operators and people who love Albany and the Great Southern ... Sam Johnson was blown away with donations totally $26,000 while in Busselton and Margaret River. WE have to do better than this. 07.01.2022 Freezing cold weather in Mount Barker, ideal for sitting in front of the fire, with a nice glass of local red wine, and a great book, or even a snuggle with your partner. This time of the year is fantastic as it's the start of the wildflower season with many orchids brightening the bush. The rain never lasts long so it's great for bushwalking and photography. Just remember to wear warm clothes.
