14.01.2022 Janet has just completed 30 years employment at Mount Barker Smash Repairs! Over the last 30 years I have seen the introduction of fax machines, mobile phones, computers, many changes in Insurance company procedures and the never ending red tape. I've also seen many young boys come in as apprentices and grow into young men. In Phil's case, into middle age. Not to mention Nathan, who 30 years ago was 21, pre fatherhood and just starting out as the owner/manager. I’ve seen him face many challenges and come through them still smiling. He has become a fair minded and considerate employer. My greatest pleasure though, has been meeting some of my most favourite people through working here. Some as work mates and others as customers. It’s been quite a journey.

03.01.2022 WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED!! As the COVID-19 environment continues to change our world, in order to maintain a safe environment for our staff and yourselves, Mount Barker Smash Repairs has implemented changes to the way we work and provide services. As part of these changes, we would like to offer our clients a contact-less option when transacting business with us.... What will this look like? After your initial contact via phone with us, simply drive in to our main car park and either remain safely in your car or take a short stroll (with plenty of social distance space) while an initial assessment is completed for your quote. This won’t take long Upon acceptance of our quote, you will then return with your car, with your fan / air-condition settings in the off position, and drop your keys into a plastic bag (provided) and drop them securely into our drop box. All car keys are thoroughly sanitised upon collection by staff and again upon return to the secure lock box. Your vehicle will then be sanitised prior to any works taking place, as per current hygiene regulations. This includes a thorough cleansing before staff access your vehicle. All internal touch points will be sanitised, prior to ‘key’ touch points such as your steering wheel, gear lever, and seats being covered with our new disposable covers. When your gleaming repaired vehicle is ready for pick up, you will receive a phone call with the ability to pay your account over the phone prior to pick up of your vehicle, which will be left in the car park for you. Simply collect your sanitised keys from our lock box and pick up your vehicle. Job done! Drive away! No contact! Big smiles! Happy to be of service!
