07.01.2022 Important first day information. Students who are in Years 1 to 6 in 2021 return to school on Friday 29th January. NO DEVICES are to come to school on Friday. We are maintaining the 2020 routines with drop off & pick up at the gate for years 1-6. If your child was in K-2 in 2020 they are to put their bag under the K-2 COLA & go to play in the K-2 playground. If your child was in 3 to 5 in 2020 they are to put their bags under the 3-6 COLA & play in the 3-6 playground.... When the bell rings at 9am children are to line up in their 2020 classes under the COLA and the teachers will move them to their interim classroom. We hope to move into our 2021 classes early next week. Our 2021 Kindergarten students will begin arriving for Best Start sessions from Friday. Parents of the 4 children being assessed will be invited to sit outside the school office. There will also be seats outside the front gate for any parents waiting with a child for Best Start. Best Start sessions are approximately 40 minutes long. The first day of school for Kindy is Thursday 4th February. Parents will have received a specific time to arrive as we have a staggered start. No more than 2 adults may accompany the Kindergarten student onto the school grounds. Please arrive at your allocated time and come in through the main gate and down the stairs on the right. Staff will greet you under the COLA and direct you to your child’s classroom. As soon as your child has entered the classroom please give them & the teacher a wave before heading back out. Please maintain social distancing with adults at all times. You must exit the school grounds after drop off. You will receive a letter on Best Start days that outlines this procedure & for the following days. 2021 PK families you will receive an email detailing your arrival & drop off procedure We sincerely thank our school community for the ongoing support as we continue to navigate the changing rules around covid. We are coming up with new ways to still enjoy milestones and events and will have more information soon regarding Classroom Meet & Greets and the Welcome to Kindergarten BBQ. Please remember to pack a drink bottle with water each day. The school supplies list that was posted earlier this month - please wait until we are in our 2021 classes to send these supplies in. :) See more

04.01.2022 What a fabulous first day Early Stage 1 (Kindy & PK) have had! They were so incredibly settled and happy! Early pick up at 2.20pm continues until Friday next week. We will bring them to the main gate. Morning drop off - Early Stage 1 parents can walk their child to their classroom between 8.30 and 8.55am for the next 7 days. After next week (week 3) children will be more comfortable with the new routine and should be able to walk themselves to their classroom in week 4 (from ...Mon 15th Feb). Teachers will still be in their rooms from 8.30 in week 4. From week 5 Early Stage 1 children will enter the school, put their bags on their hooks and go to the playground to play. We will practice this with them. As you bring them in over the next week please talk to them about 'when you do this by yourself, you walk straight down here, find your hook, and go into your room/to the playground '. This procedure reinforcement will help your child to feel more confident and will enhance their independence. From Monday of week 4 (15th Feb) home pick up is at 2.50pm, this time will continue until the end of covid restrictions. We look forward to another fabulous day again tomorrow See more
