21.01.2022 Youth on Wheels is a District Council of Grant operated learner driver mentor program assisting youth in both the District and the City to obtain a P1 licence. Volunteers offer their time to teach our local youth valuable driving skills. Youth on Wheels is the fourth group to receive $1,000 as part of our $1 million in contributions to the community promotion. Run by TYS & Rubys, the program helps bring together families who are experiencing relationship difficulties and welcomes young people who are currently not at home but would like to find a way to return. Sharon and her team of counsellors do an amazing job supporting local youth and families.
