24.01.2022 Good morning all. Now the world is officially turning again, and South Austalia is back out of lockdown (hardest 36 hrs of my life ) we can look back to normalities somewhat. Our postponed general meeting from last week will be held this Wednesday Night from 7pm at the clubrooms, in the lead up to our presentation dinner scheduled for the 5th December. Again as per normal would be great to see as many members as we can attend to show support for what has been a challenging year.

21.01.2022 STATEMENT: AUSTRALIAN KART CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND THREE South Australian COVID-19 Cluster Forces Championship Cancellation Round 3 of the 2020 SP Tools Australian K...art Championship presented by Castrol EDGE will not proceed and no Champions will be declared for 2020. The decision to halt the Championship has been made due to the current COVID cluster in South Australia and the responses to that that are being made both in that State and by numerous other State governments. Our priority since we announced the revised event dates in August has been to try and complete a three Round Championship, said Karting Australia CEO Kelvin O’Reilly. Our planning for the last round was in very good shape until the South Australian outbreak became apparent on Sunday evening. That a number of State Governments have immediately decided to shut their state borders with South Australia or Adelaide, combined with the ongoing Queensland border restrictions covering Victoria and Sydney, makes it impossible to run the last round. Our focus will now turn fully to 2021. I would like to thank the clubs that worked with us to provide multiple host venue options for Round three. The challenges of operating a national sport and national events in the COVID era are enormous. Sometimes having multiple contingencies planned is just not enough and that is the case on this occasion. The safety and wellbeing of our karting family and the community at large is the singular most important thing, and we will never deviate from that. The schedule for 2021 SP Tools Australian Kart Championship presented by Castrol EDGE will be released in due course. Ends

08.01.2022 Well after yesterday's surprise announcement by Rick Kelly I figured why not take a look back at the many helmets we have done over the last 5 years. Rick has b...een a pleasure to work with and was always genuinely excited about every creation. He was always very hands on with the design work, always wanted to try something different and had a lot of input into every design well beyond just worrying about logo placements! I can say Rick has some of my all time favourite helmets in this collection and hopefully there is another opportunity to add to the collection somewhere down the road! Keen to hear everyone's favourite out of the collection... Thanks Rick!! #rstardesign #rstartreatment #fuelledbyppg Kelly Racing

06.01.2022 to and - - FROM KARTING AUSTRALIA - During the past 12 months, there has been significant discussion from the karting industry and some competitors regarding the parity between engines in the TaG 125 and TaG 125 Restricted Classes.... The data obtained from the recently introduced electronic Scrutineering Records, when matched with the official results from official timing system have provided Karting Australia with the ability to better assess the parity within these Classes. Based on our analysis of this data, we believe that parity adjustments are warranted for both TaG 125 and TaG 125 Restricted Classes. For States that have Combined Classes such as Victorian Combined and SA Combined in their State Regulations, the adjustments for the minimum weights in these classes will be decided by the State Associations through the normal process and included in their State Regulations. - 23, 2020 3kg reduction to the combined Driver and Kart weight for all engines OTHER than the Rotax 125 engine. 1kg reduction to the combined Driver and Kart weight for X30 engine powered Karts 3kg increase to the combined Driver and Kart weight for Rotax 125 engine powered Karts 1) TaG 125 Restricted Light: a. 02.01.2022 For those of you who missed it, our very own Jobe Stewart, took to the Virtual track last night in the opening round of the Repco eSports series for 2020. Consisting of three heats at three different locations, Jobe piloted the Erebus Penrite Holden Commodore amongst the best sim driving talent in the country. Consisting of a 6 week series, there is still plenty of opportunities to tune in to watch, with coverage on Fox sports 506, Kayo, and numerous twitch channels each Tuesday from around 8pm. The format might be via Virtual Reality, but the competitiveness of the competition is real.
