16.01.2022 VOLUNTEER CAMPGROUND HOST Wanted for IMMEDIATE start at Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge!! Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge is opening the best campground in the Kimberley next Monday 18th May for Campers that are within the Kimberley Bio-Security Region. We are seeking a couple to be Campground Hosts in the immediate future for the 2020 Season, or part thereof.... The expectation are that the restrictions of travel along the Gibb River Road (within WA, and possibly interstate) will be progressively removed over the course of the season, and there has been an increased level of interest to our previous post about the opening of our Campground. Please come with your own accommodation and be self sufficient with food etc., however ample water, and limited intermittent power is available for the Campground hosts in the campground. The Campground Ablution Block is available with flushing toilets and Hot & Cold showers available. To keep in touch, limited access to the internet and phone communication is available at the Lodge about 1km away. In return, you will be expected to keep the campground ablution facilities spotlessly clean, mow lawns, pump water, run generator, check in and socialise with fellow campers. This will occupy a few hours each day, but you will have ample time to relax and enjoy all the attraction of the King Leopold Conservation Park, and the West Kimberley without the normal crowds. Exemption for travel into the region may be possible for the selected Hosts. Please send by email your expression of interest, references & experiences in this role (if any), or for any enquiries email: [email protected]
