15.01.2022 Hi folks, The 2021 Eisteddfod is being conducted in two parts Music, Speech, and Drama in June and Dance In September Please understand we are a group of FIVE volunteers that have taken on roles. One has taken care of our covid part of being able to get this competition on the road.... One has been very devoted to getting the music, speech, and drama on the road and we need your understanding and patience while it is being rolled out. One is sorting out all the dance and Stardom. One is ensuring we have all our I’s dotted and T’s crossed and bills paid. Covid has done a number on all Eisteddfods and we are fortunate that we have four dedicated volunteers who work full-time, are tackling health issues, and dealing with other situations in our personal lives. However, we are still working together to be able to pull off a small competition which allows our students to be able to experience competition in their discipline. Please be kind as this takes a toll on our mental health and well-being as we want to do what is best for our competitors. My name is Tracey Tweedie and I am the President of this very small dedicated committee who wants our competitors to be able to have the opportunity of the Eisteddfod. The community of Mount Isa. I’m just a mum whose children have danced, played musical instruments but I believe in the positive spirit of community. We are doing the best we can with the manpower we have. I thank you for your understanding and please let’s all work the best with what we have. Showcase what your music, speech, and drama students can do. It’s all about giving it a go. It’s about participating snd having fun. Kind regards Tracey Tweedie
