01.02.2022 Sporters Sporters season rally is on today, to get the 2022 season started all Sporters members will receive a 6pack to take on the course for the first round of the 2022 season. Not a member - no worries join today $20 joining fee. Each games will then be $7 for MIGC Members and $12 for non MIGC Members... Play as many times as you like between Monday and Friday. Each Friday there will be a shotgun start at 4pm.

18.01.2022 As some of you are aware, we ran the 2020 LMC Cup on August 30th and it was a huge success. The LMC Cup has been run for the past 4 years to acknowledge the service provided by the doctors at the Leichhardt Medical Center and to provide a golfing event open to all of the Mount Isa community. This year, we had the full field of nominations including 2 visitors from Julia Creek and people on a waiting list. Firstly we would like to thank this years sponsors Bell & Moir Toyota ...( Lee Pulman), Mount Isa Mining Supplies ( Brett Petersen), Floorworx ( Shoey & Bernie), MC Scaffolds ( Jason Crockett), Thrive Rural ( Ted Choyce), Jakeman Constructions ( Bob & Liz Jakeman), Leichhardt Medical Center ( Dr. Jos Pouesi), Pharmacy First (Leigh Houldsworth), Isa Tenpin Bowl (Terry & Bazza), Sunset Butchery and Conrad McElligott. We will play front 9 holes first then stop for food and refreshments before playing the back 9 holes ambrose pairs event. There are some carts still availble for hire. If you are on this draw and cannot make it please let me know asap as I will need time to adjust the draw. A few punters have joined the Rest of the world side to even up the ledger for a fair contest. If you are playing for Aus wear Green and Gold. If you are on the ROW team wear the colours of the country you are representing or go with Red. If you know someone that doesn't check facebook regularly can you check in with them for me and make sure they are good to go tomorrow. Our aim is to have a bit of fun and raise some money for a much loved life member doing it a bit tough.
