As a racing & men's fashion enthusiast, he is always leading the way in the fashion forward stakes at the races. When looking for a standout this weekend, Johnny said he is focused on the originality of and the use of accessories in the outfit. For the men, Johnny said a key component of the outfit is all about how it is pieced all together that counts. Thanks Johnny!

We would also like to remind everyone that a ticket is needed by members, general public, children, owners and trainers who are attending our race days in the Club House area, this helps with keeping track of our numbers. 11.01.2022 It is with regret that due to the current circumstances happening around the world and in Australia we have had to make the decision to cancel our 2020 Mailman Express. We hope to be back big and better in 2021 and hope that everyone stays safe and well.

11.01.2022 Mount Isa Race Club would like to announce that Tables for our race day events can now be purchased along with tickets from Eventbrite. Tables sizes are 4,6 or 8 and are $50 per table. Since we have reopened from Covid, we have had to turn a number of patrons away due to the Covid crowd restrictions. Only to have a number of tables booked not arrive on the day. The $50 is a deposit and will be refund upon arrival. Thank you for understanding and continue support throughout this trying time. 06.01.2022 A sad day for the local horse racing industry. Horse racing has lost a legend in the passing of Mervyn Royes. A life member of the Towers Jockey Club Mervyn was a very well liked man and a gentleman.

Mount Isa Race Club are happy to acknowledge that we have been successful in securing part of this grant for the following construction and up grades. 1/ New Stewards Tower 2/ Swab Stall upgrade... 3/ Jockey Room upgrade 4/ New Safety Helmets and Vest for barrier attendants We would like to thank all those involved in putting our grant application together, and well done on the successful outcome.

03.01.2022 We are opening to crowds again on 15th August. Prebooked tickets are available via the link pinned to top of this page, no tickets will be available at the gate on the day. We will have full facilities available on track. No outside food or drinks allowed. Please book a table as every patron must be seated. We will have all COVID-19 restrictions in place to ensure we remain open to the general public for future events. 01.01.2022 Thank you to Jay Morris and his team for the great work they did on restoring the kitchen ceiling and counter top. These were destroyed earlier in the year due to the very rare rain we have here in the Isa. Job well done looks fantastic.
