21.01.2022 Mrs Hush taught are MKPS for nearly 20 years! Many of our students were in Mrs Hush’s class, garden club, science experiences and pottery groups. Last year she retired and the P & C organised this wonderful BUDDY BENCH. The idea of the bench is if any student sees someone sitting there they could invite them to play and if they are looking for a buddy they can sit there. A lovely concept supporting inclusivity & kindness at our school. #LoveWhereYouLearn

15.01.2022 Mrs Keech was a teacher at MKPS for nearly 30 years, last year she retired after teaching many of our current students and our wider school community. Our P & C has made this lovely tribute to her in our school gardens. Now our students can enjoy sitting in the Yarning circle during break times and outdoor learning sessions #LoveWhereYouLearn

15.01.2022 With school excursions canned - interactive learning experiences are heading into the classroom. Mount Kembla Public School's the first in the state to trial a new STEM program from U-O-W's Science Space.

15.01.2022 Science Space joined us at Mount Kembla today to teach us some robotics and coding skills. Such a fun day!

13.01.2022 We had a fabulous day at Killalea State Park today! We learnt about natural landscapes, local indigenous customs and new skills like making campsite fires. Such a fun day for the whole school

11.01.2022 This term 5/6 Magpie students designed active outdoor games as part of their Physical Education program and assessment task. Each student then effectively taught their game to their classmates. Every game promoted: An active component Inclusivity for every ability Wellbeing for all Well done 5/6 Magpies!

We couldn't decide which state or territory would be the best to visit so the kids created some ads to persuade us to visit their favourite. Here is a sneak peak at one of our many fantastic ads. 05.01.2022 Stage three students designed enrichment maths games and today got to share their hard work with their peers. Here is one of the activities which was a scavenger hunt. The groups had to follow the clues and solve the maths algorithms!!

Books will be on sale from Tuesday until Thursday this week, you can bring cash with you or buy online beforehand with your Wishlists. See you Wednesday! Unfortunately this year, our parade is closed to visitors due to COVID but we will share lots of photos!
