I’m writing to inform you all, that due to the continued spread of COVID-19, the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPCC) has recommended that all dental practices adhere to Australian Dental Association ‘Level Three’ restrictions with regards to dental treatment.... Practically speaking this means our clinic is limited to providing only a very narrow range of emergency services, and has in effect been made to temporarily close. We are, however, still here to support you as best we can. We will be frequently checking voicemails and e-mails during business hours 9am-5pm M-F, and will endeavour to manage any emergencies to the best of our ability. We sincerely apologise that this unprecedented global crisis has impacted our ability to continue our service. 06.01.2022 Mount Pleasant Dental COVID-19 Update: We are open again as of April 29! Dear Patients, Friends and Colleagues of Mount Pleasant Dental... On the advice of the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), we are pleased to announce Mount Pleasant Dental will be open again from Wednesday April 29 under Level Two restrictions. Level Two restrictions allow us to carry out most routine dental services, albeit with some extra precautions, to prevent the spread of COVID-19. A limited number of treatments, such as surgical tooth extractions and dental implant placement, are still restricted until further notice. Our clinic will continue to take enhanced infection control measures (such as increased social distancing, expanded cleaning protocols etc) and we remain committed to helping provide treatment in an environment as safe as possible for patients, staff and the community at large. If you have an appointment already scheduled with us from April 29, we are happy to see you as arranged and will be in contact to confirm your appointment. If youd prefer to reschedule please contact us from Wednesday April 29. If you have had an appointment cancelled or postponed due to the shutdown, we will reach out in the coming days to help you reschedule. If you have any fears, concerns or uncertainties about reattending our clinic, our team is here to help answer any questions you may have, and will help you make a safe decision based on your personal circumstances.
