19.01.2022 Congratulations to Riveen G and Joshua L (Year 7 - Team: RDI) and Chris W and Alex R (Year 9 -Team: So indome) and their mentor Mr Warren McAlister, whose teams were announced as one of Australia's Top 10 Semi-Finalists in the Texas Instruments TI Codes Contest. Well done!

14.01.2022 As part of the 'Music Count Us In' event, the MWSC Jazz Band took part in a recording of the official song "You Can't Bring Us Down". This involved online full band and sectional rehearsals, personal practice with a guide track, and the students participating in some learning about recording at home. 12.01.2022 Despite the challenges and limitations for music through the pandemic, music students at Mount Waverley Secondary College have been busily preparing for their virtual participation in this year's @musiccountusin event. Music Count Us In is an initiative run by @musicaustralia where students from schools across the country perform the same song at the same time on the same day.
