25.01.2022 Moura Playgroup will be holding a stall at the Moura Christmas Street Party 2020 this year which will be held on Wednesday 2nd December! We are selling soft drinks & poppers. We will also have Balloons for the kids, lollies & some Christmas colouring in Please come on down to support us & spread the word to your family & friends! We will also be selling tickets for our Multi-draw raffle.

25.01.2022 Today Moura Playgroup Celebrated our end of year break up. A special mention to the Moura Fire Brigade for bringing Santa and handed out all the presents it’s the highlight of the day for the children, and also thank you to Karen Price for generously purchasing coffee’s for the parents Another successful year was had at Moura Playgroup with the committee going above and beyond (Stacey Symes, Jody Milligan, Tayla Provan) Thank you to the the Moura Community for supporting ...our fundraising events (Sausage Sizzle, Drink Stall at the Moura Street Christmas Party, our Annual Christmas Bake Sale and multi draw raffle) Last but not least thank you to all the families who attend playgroup each week and show their support to our group,we hope the kids have enjoyed each Wednesday! We look forward to a bigger and better 2021!

23.01.2022 Hi Parents & Caregivers, Before resuming Playgroup, please be aware of the following: Playgroup resumes back Wednesday 22nd July, then every Wed of school terms. Times are 9am - 11am. We will no longer do a ‘shared morning tea’. Please bring your child/children, their own individual container of snacks.... The coffee van will still drop by at approx 10am. Our hygiene requirements will increase greatly! You will notice hand sanitizer, spray and wipe, glen 20, antibacterial supplies. Available for you to access at all times. All toys, bikes, cozy coupes, play equipment will be cleaned prior to Playgroup day. The routine will then be, on packing up for the day, we clean, pack away so it is ready for the following week. Don’t let that scare you though, many hands make light work, and this process will become second nature and not a huge job. We will still ask for volunteers to run the daily craft activity, we have plenty of resources on hand that can ensure children have their own paint tray, pencils and craft supplies etc to keep kids excited and interested to learn, create & grow! We will all need to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Measurements of the Playgroup yard has proved we have sufficient space to cater for our members. If you or your child are unwell, please do not attend. The daily Sign in/Attendance sheet is now going to also have a health declaration that you read before signing in. Your contribution of $2 per child (over 6 months of age) is a donation to Moura Playgroup directly. This money goes back in to providing a stimulating environment for all children under 5’s. Please take the time to ensure your membership is current, after your second visit you are required to join Playgroup Qld. The contact number is 1800171882, please contact them directly if you have any queries. New members are always welcome, if you have anyone you would like to join us. Add them to the Facebook group. ‘Moura Playgroup Members’. We do however monitor who can see the page, we often put photos of children during the day so if you haven’t joined us for some time we do have to remove, etc. We are so excited to resume Playgroup again! Hope to see you this week. We are all new to this process, but will do our best to ensure Playgroup is still a fun, hygienic & great place for you and your little ones. 23.01.2022 Good morning! Tomorrow is Moura Playgroups annual Under 5s Day. This year we have lots of fun planned for the little ones- face painting, balloon making, craft fun, jumping castles, emergency services visits, guinea pig petting zoo, and lots more! Lots of market stalls for the parents, a huge multi-draw raffle (over $3000 in prizes), lucky door prizes- including a 2 night accommodation in Yeppoon as the Adults lucky door prize. $2 entry fee for all. Please come along to Moura Playgroup this Wednesday at 9am at the front of the Tennis Courts. This week we are having a dress up fundraiser, come dressed as a farmer in support of our Aussie Farmers and all money taken on the day will be donated to Qld Drought Angels. Shelley, Claire, Nicole, Liz and Tayla we appreciate you giving us your time. Many hands make light work. We had an awesome day. Any suggestions for activities and or crafts are always more than welcome.

With facility/equipment upgrade from the help of Anglo American, weekly craft activity, an outstanding attendance and support of our Under 5s day and the continuous weekly attendance from our locals families, on behalf of the Moura Playgroup Committee thank you for supporting us! This will sound harsh, BUT even if your child has a snotty nose - Do not attend. Could be teething, but also could be a contagious cold/flu. Please read through the previous information post for all information you need to know.... An extra change for us is that the big play mat will not be put out. So please bring your own mat for you and your child if you wish. It tends to make us complacent with complying to the social distancing rules. Thank you
