21.01.2022 Look after yourself in the hot weather. As the temperature is rising, it is important to look after yourself, your family, friends and colleagues, as well ...as any animals in your care. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, limit physical exercise and stay out of the sun whenever possible. https://bit.ly/3mvNxDp See more

12.01.2022 Book Review - By Mrs Bensley All the Ways to be Smart - Written by Davina Bell and Illustrated Allison Colpoys. All The Ways To Be Smart is a celebration of what childhood can be. It is a beautifully illustrated book that teaches children that intelligence is so much more than being book-smart. Intelligence can also mean being empathetic, artistic, athletic, and inquisitive. It places value in every kind of talent, from ‘building boats from boxes’ to ‘kindness when there’s cr...ying’. With each page and sentence you are enthusiastically challenged to use your imagination to picture yourself in the same scenario. It’s really quite magical. It has great rhyming text that is super fun and easy to read aloud. My favourite part is the realisation that we are indeed all smart in our own special way and that no one has the same kind of smart. This should be required reading in families, at workplaces, in schools. I love this beautiful, confidence-building book. I think everyone will find something here to make them feel better about themselves (and appreciate those around them).

02.01.2022 Parents and caregivers are welcome on state school sites. 'COVID normal' health practices apply to all adults on school sites so that means: 1. Maintain physical distancing of 1.5m. 2. Wear a mask if social distancing of 1.5m is not possible. 3. Maintain good hand hygiene.... 4. Stay home if unwell. The departmental guidelines also say adults should limit gathering at drop-off and pick-up times, in the car parks, outside classrooms and at the school gates.
