WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE HAIRCUT TO DO AT THE MOMENT AND WHY? >>>SWIPE TO SEE MOUSEY’S HAIRCUT. My favourite haircut right now is a short round yet bold shape, perfect for summer. My inspiration for this is the ‘Halo’ usually done on straight hair. I saw it recently and thought, how can I translate this for curls. HOW DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION AND STAY INSPIRED? My biggest inspiration comes from the street! I love people watching and always have. I find it so interesting to see how people present themselves on the street in their daily lives just going about their business. WHAT IS ONE THING THAT HAS CHANGED FOR THE BETTER FOR YOUR BUSINESS SINCE COVID-19? I’ve learnt to stop, stay in the moment, take one day at a time and be ok about that within myself. Which has given me a new appreciation and love for working behind the chair. This has really helped simplify my business and actually be in a more creative space when it comes to my clients. I’m just thinking about them and not a thousand other things that I should or feel like I need to be doing. 16.01.2022 This is one of my favourite shapes for short CURLS right now! ‘The Halo’ It’s a BOLD shape that dates back to the 60’s & 70’s. And I think @geirthana wears it incredibly well. I often look at the amazing shapes that have been created through precision cutting on straight hair ( even though my haircutting style is far from precision) over the years, and simply try to translate those beautiful shapes onto CURLY hair.
