23.01.2022 A panic attack is a brief episode of fear or an intense rush of anxiety when there is no actual danger present. Theres no complete set of symptoms that you can check off to confirm youre having a panic attack. People experience them differently and on a different level of severity from having a bit of a breakdown to thinking theyre dying. Up to 40 per cent of people in Australia experience a panic attack at some point in their life.

23.01.2022 We've linked our ride through Ride Sunday as an event as well ( https://www.ridesunday.com/rides/movember-motorcycle-ride ) to help spread the word far and wide :-)

19.01.2022 What a great day, thanks to all for participating. We raised $1708.40 , had 109 bikes come along and more smiles than I've seen in a long time. A big thanks must go out to those helpers involved, without whom it would not run so smoothly. Audrey (mum), Shirl McLean (wife), Jamie Cooper (daughter), Rick Cooper ( her husband), Elisha McLean(daughter) and Dylan Buckley (her boyfriend) and traffic stopper :-) . Thanks also to ONeills Mobile Coffee Group for supplying drinks .... Onwards and upwards for next year. We will utilise the same start point as it was such a success. Remember - Gro Mo and save a Bro See more

18.01.2022 "The basics of Movember are the conversations we have with each other. How we share and reach out. How we support our friends and family. How we support the men... in our life. Breaking down the walls, breaking down the barriers that stigma creates. Having real, deep conversations." -Bubba Nicholson, 10 Year Mo Bro If you feel you need help please visit weneedtotalk.movember.com to find support in your area. 12.01.2022 Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders "who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations" and "the contribution and suffering of all those who have served". "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning ... We will remember them." To the fallen, the missing and those who came home with tormented minds. Lest We Forget

10.01.2022 This year’s MOvember MOtorcycle Ride IS GOING AHEAD However the format has had to be altered due the dreaded Covid restrictions. As numbers in groups have been ...severely limited, we have devised a plan to ensure we all spread the word for Men’s health. This is how we’ll go for this year. We can’t all gather to have a chat or donate as we have in the past SO . A select small family group WILL start the ride, from Thomas H Halton Park, departing at 11:00 AM on 15th of MOvember (second Sunday as usual) following this route around our beautiful Lake Macquarie (https://goo.gl/maps/dJ9ecB3jyNqMkgTz8 ). I’d like small groups to gather along the route and join us on the road, no more than 20, this will help create the spectacle of a hundred or so bikes riding together (all Covid safe ) which has raised SO MUCH awareness for us before. We can’t all meet at the end for a catch up but will need to go our own ways from there on. There will be a summary of the ride and funds raised posted here after the event Keep an eye out for us to join on behind ( see the 2 old Ducatis below for a start) The family group will stop in the main street of Swansea to give a personal thank you wave as you all proceed to your own destinations. What YOU can do personally this year is make a donation on line at https://mobro.co/dalemclean ,if you want a MO for the bike put it in the comments and don’t forget your address (there are a limited number MO’s I can send out for the donation ) I’ll try get them out before the ride, then take look around the MOvember site for just what we are doing for men’s health issues. Do your bit grow a Mo it’ll get people talking. Ladies let that leg hair grow to support your man. Thank you together we are changing the face of men's health I’d like to thank you all for your ongoing support, most of you will know how close this event sits to my heart and my families also, we’ve raised roughly $10,000 over the 10 years that we have run this event. All of which has gone to save men’s lives, you are all helping to spread the word for men’s mental and physical health. Through this event we know personally of at least two local lives that have been saved, so please keep supporting this event, wave the flag, GO THE MO, Keeping men’s minds and bodies healthy and support each other and encourage us to talk about these important issues amongst each other. See you all on the road, Ride safely GROW A MO AND SAVE A BRO
