15.01.2022 HAPPINESS- most of my life I’ve been searching for happiness. It comes and goes like the clouds but always deep down you feel content and nourished to know that you have gone through your days as an integral being. My one must do to keep me nourished and happy is movement. It doesn’t have to be much, I generally train strength 3-4 times a week and move with a walk or a bike ride the other days. It doesn’t take much but to know that one thing that will always be there for you to pick you up. Is PRICELESS!!!

13.01.2022 SPECIFICITY- story time... Two of my clients this morning when I asked do you have anymore knee pain? These two women have been working hard on their specific goal of being out of pain. The fundamental rule was it wasn’t the knee that was the problem. ... So once we understand this rule, training the body in such ways to get them using the right movement patterns with the right sequencing then everything else works. We are only just beginning but after only 2 months both these women said to me today I haven’t had any pain, thank you!!! And I said YES! With a fist pump!!! Educate. Inspire. Connect.
12.01.2022 LENGTHEN TO STRENGTHEN- Finding end range strength can be simple for some. But most of don’t do any at all. Think of it as like stretching and finding that point where you feel the stretch, and then adding a weight to the end of that stretch. Your body is the weight when put it into positions it is unaware of. Yes lifting weights is amazing, but using body weight for complexity, deload and CNS uptake will reap some awesome results.
11.01.2022 YOUR HEALTHIEST BODY IS MADE IN THE KITCHEN- yes we need to move our bodies for optimum health, but it’s most important to understand your food selection and why fruit and vegetables are why so many dietitians and nutritionists are telling us to eat more nutrient dense vegetables. Most of us are not getting enough and need to get more fruit and vegetables in our diets. Let’s start the new year focusing on more vegetables, fruit and use these shots to understand what vitamins... you should be consuming. 08.01.2022 ANKLES- feet and ankles are so important, so when I met my new client on 21st September and after working with Move Method and myself. The first thing I noticed was the inflammation in the ankle and I heard her say sore knee. As of today we have no inflammation, and knee is no longer sore. Still more work needed but a huge result so far! Well done @kyliebaby_kb
08.01.2022 NOT ALL EXERCISES ARE - Traditional, or Sagittal plane. The question should be asked why do we not just do traditional exercises. ... There is absolutely space in every program for traditional exercise, but our bodies do not move on one plane of motion. To have a bulletproof, pain free and flexible body all 3 planes of motion should be trained.

08.01.2022 TURKISH GET UP- we use this as a ground to stand movement. This movement challenges all parts of the body and allows for control, rythym, body awareness and accurate mobility. Ground to stand in my opinion is one of the best ways to get your bang for buck moving all joints of the body in 3D motion. Notice the 2 variations here.

07.01.2022 WHAT DOES THIS EVEN MEAN- Longevity in the dictionary is described as a long continuance, permanence, durability. Studies show that many factors impact longevity of life, social status, economics, genetics etc. ... Yes we are always told if we eat well, move daily, sleep, reduce stress in our lives and decrease consumption of alcohol etc we will live a healthier life. After the many years in the industry and the demographic I work with the simple things are the most rewarding. Move it or lose it. Most of my clients only want to move better, they want to be able to get up off the floor with ease, they want to move pain free, they want to socialise with like minded people, they want safe environments to be surrounded in, they want to feel resilient and bulletproof in their bodies. It starts in the mind, believe you can achieve something and it will happen. It might be hard at first but the more you accomplish the more rewarding it becomes.

05.01.2022 MUSCLES FOR LONGEVITY- Yes we all want muscles and be able to show them off. But what about for longevity? As we age we lose muscle strength after the age of 40 of up to 16-40%. ... To overcome this continuing to move and building strength for as long as you can is one way. Working on your postural strength, focusing on any niggles or pain, then building muscular strength will benefit a lot. Giving yourself a good 12-24 weeks of regular strength training should get you started extremely well.

01.01.2022 MOBILITY- if you are unable to move the body into its specific movement pattern, don’t try and load it. Unless is specific flexibility drills. Train yourself to move well first then load the body, the body is complex and likes to be loaded but only when it can move well. ... Challenge your body unloaded and see the adaptations you can make to feel better in loaded movements. We are not all body builder wanna be remember.

01.01.2022 MOVE-ABILITY CLASS- I generally test out all of my movements before I pass them on to my members. Move-ability is exactly that, being able to move without pain, discomfort or struggle. Just move in your ranges. These are my ranges and my ability. As I get older I want to be able to move well, feel strong and healthy.
