10.01.2022 Following on from last weeks post, here are a few rehabilitation exercises you can perform for tennis elbow just like one of our dedicated clients in this video. . 1. Isometric wrist extension: Place the injured arm on a flat surface. Use your other hand to apply resistance to the injured arm. Hold for 5 seconds then move through range as shown in the video. Perform 3 sets . 2. Eccentric wrist curls: place injured arm on a flat surface. Gripping a dumbell extend your wrist... towards you then slowly lower back down. Start with 1kg weight and then gradually increase weight as tolerated. Perform 15 reps x 3 sets . 3. Forearm pronation/supination strengthening: hold a 1kg dumbbell as shown or a hammer in the injured hand and slowly turn your hand so the palm is down and then repeat so the palm is up.
