15.01.2022 PLEASE JOIN US at our farewell celebration this Saturday, 25 June at Berowra Village Tavern. Festivities start at 6.30pm with activities for the kids and the band 'Street Party' will commence at 8.30pm. We would really love to catch up with as many of you as possible, as our last few weeks in the store were so frantic because of the sale, that we didn't get a really good chance to say goodbye to everyone and to thank you for all your support over the last 12.5 years. 13.01.2022 LAST DAYS - prices reduced - ALL MOVIES now $3ea or 10 for $20. TV series reduced to $5 per season. People in here now buying and amazed that there are still really good movies still available.

12.01.2022 After a short absence from Facebook, I'm back. Dave and I just wanted to take the opportunity of thanking Caitlin Burrell et al for organising our farewell party on 25 July at Berowra Village Tavern. We had a wonderful night - with so many people joining us, it blew our minds. Ron James and his band StreeetParty played, and we danced all night. They were excellent, as usual!!! We wanted to thank everyone who helped organise the party and gifts, for everyone who attended, ...for everyone who contributed to our gifts and for all the best wishes we received from everyone. Closing the business was not something that Dave and I wanted to do, but we needed to be sensible. We will miss all of our wonderful customers and families. We've made so many great friends over the 12.5 years we were in Berowra. Thank you so much for all your support of the years. So many people offered us help and support while we were closing the business and we thank them wholeheartedly for that. But there were some people who went above and beyond the call of friendship. These people prepared walls, undercoated, painted, swept, cleaned, stacked, moved, disassembled, transported, cooked, labelled, loaned tools, donated paint and much more. They each know what they did, but I just wanted to mention them by name: Craig Allen, Spencer Staden, Ron James, Nathan James, Mary Kendall, Catriona Reeve, Raelene Williams (and her family), Chris Ashbolt, Matthew Powell, Bruce Hollow, Glen Murray, Murray Bolan (and his staff), Mitch Stone, Kate Gow, Kate Friend and Claire Cullen. Your tireless efforts are most appreciated. And to all our customers and local residents who gave us cards, flowers, gifts, bottles of wine, gift vouchers, best wishes and so many things, we feel honoured and humbled. It's so long to Movie HQ - but not to us. We'll still be around the area. Please say 'Hi' when you see us. We're going to miss you all dreadfully. We've loved every minute. THANKS. Mon & Dave

All remaining weekly movies are selling for $5ea or 10 for $30. (Still plenty of movies to choose from - especially children, family, drama, comedy and thrillers.) 40% off all accessories including HDMI cables. 40% off all ink cartridges. Ice creams - BUY 1 GET 1 FREE. Pop down and have a look what's still left. You'll be surprised about how many good movies there are still available.

08.01.2022 Believe it or not, we're still here. Odd jobs getting done ready for painting. But we still have some DVDs left - about 600. Not bad really seeing as we started with 12,500. So while we're still here, we'll keep selling. $3ea, 10 for $20, 20 for $30 or 40 for $40.

07.01.2022 We would also like to say a big THANK YOU to Andrew Tuft and Kristy Comb for a wonderful weekend away in Mudgee. Can't wait. Could really do with some quiet time. A very generous gift - much appreciated.

First there was 12,500 DVDs - now there's about 1,100. We've done really well folks. We're still selling, so pop down and make a visit, but please excuse the mess.
