25.01.2022 When doing zhan zhuang practice, people often place their focus on qi. This may be over-emphasising one aspect of zhan zhuang. Although standing does produce ...a sense of qi, it is a natural phenomenon and a reaction of the body during practice. Feeling it but not being able to control it means you cannot bring it forth and utilise it. Although Taijiquan is a practice that cultivates internal gongfu, "internal" is not only qi; the bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments etc and the viscera are also "internal" aspects. From the beginning Taijiquan practice involves all these things. So zhan zhuang first, regardless of qi, must involve loosening and extending your muscles and bones etc with correct alignment. The main areas to loosen and extend being the shoulders and kua. The sign that the basic loosening process is in place is when you are able to hang the two arms and maintain a half circle position for an extended time. The length of time you can hold depends entirely on the degree of looseness and relaxation you have achieved. The sign that the kua is released is when the bodys power and weight are able to go downwards to the ground through the muscles at the back of the legs (not the muscles in the front of the legs that causes knee pain and injury).

05.01.2022 La energa se vuelve negativa cuando no fluye. La falta de movimiento conduce a la energa estancada, lo que conduce a emociones negativas. Las emociones negati...vas conducen a la falta de movimiento y comienza de nuevo. La energa atascada en el corazn conduce a la crueldad, el odio y la impaciencia. La energa atascada en el hgado provoca ira y frustracin. Cuando la energa del bazo se estanca, comenzamos a preocuparnos. Lo mismo ocurre con el miedo en los riones y la depresin en los pulmones. Practicar las emociones positivas y expresarlas en nuestra vida ayuda a que la energa se mueva. Se dice que el amor es verbo; y supongo que podra decirse lo mismo de la bondad, la confianza, la seguridad y la quietud. Es la quietud realmente un verbo? El hacer del no-hacer? Quizs debamos quedarnos quietos? De todos modos, no es cierto que todas las personas mayores estn de mal humor, como sugiere el ttulo. Quizs un ttulo mejor es que las personas estancadas se sumergen en sus emociones negativas. Ya sean viejos o jvenes, cuando no tenemos movimiento, no tenemos vida. El agua del sistema linftico se estanca como el agua en una zanja poco profunda. La buena noticia es que las personas que practican el movimiento se mantienen jvenes. Practicar virtudes positivas multiplica las virtudes positivas. Los taostas tienen una variedad de ejercicios para mover la energa del cuerpo. Me gusta pensar en las prcticas taostas en trminos de la evolucin de la vida. Un beb comienza recostndose sobre su espalda, como fortalecer la columna y el msculo psoas en el yoga taosta. A continuacin, el beb comienza a sentarse y a sonrer, como la meditacin taosta de la sonrisa interior. Finalmente, el beb se pone de pie y encuentra el equilibrio, como en Chi Kung camisa de hierro.
