25.01.2022 Our voice is such an important part of our presence and it is often overlooked in learning more about effective and influential communication. In my experience of communication training leadership and in theatre performance the voice is THE key expression of you and of making yourself heard/felt and understood. So if you are seeking to be more you or 'authentic' more influential then it pays to spend sometime exploring your voice. Our next session in our wonderfully rich and joyful Moving Fearlessly chats is an opportunity to pay attention to your VOICE.
23.01.2022 Anyone thinking to write your book or to reflect on grief in your life. My wonderful, warm, fun, courageous friend and colleague in conversation about these two topics.
23.01.2022 Need I say more?! This year has forced us all to let go of plans. In this shift other possibilities have emerged and are emerging - that is the gift of letting go of plans. As a theatre improviser of 30 years I can tell you letting of of plans and responding in the moment is something we need to practice, over and over again. If this is something that you would like to practice then join us!
21.01.2022 How are you creating a sense of safety and belonging in your meetings? In our next chat we will be exploring 'systems of questioning' to support safe spaces.
21.01.2022 Just listen for 2 minutes - you wont regret it.
21.01.2022 Join us for a conversation with Valerie Lyons on the POWER within the Pandemic. These conversations continue to create a joyful forum for connection, with ourselves and each other, and to inspire thoughtful and often moving reflections on the changes we are experiencing in life at present.
21.01.2022 An important message at this time about Toxic positivity: When people default to bypassing difficult emotions in the service of fake positivity is when "toxic positivity" takes root. In organizations, toxic positivity can masquerade as "get on with it." Just like we can get stuck in difficult emotions, we can also get stuck in the idea of "positive only" and this is fundamentally an avoidant coping strategy (a form of gaslighting oneself or others). Telling people to "Just Be... Positive" can be done with great intentions, yet the impact is one of silencingof making it feel unsafe to speak up lest one be labeled as "negative." When we default to "Just Be Positive" we close ourselves off to learning from difficult emotions, understanding what values emotions are signposting, and developing skills in dealing with these difficult emotions. This "Just Be Positive" approach undermines wellbeing. It also undermines organizational agility and resilience as issues aren't able to be effectively surfaced and addressed. The beauty and fragility of life are interwoven. This reality demands that individuallyand in our organizationswe let go of these narratives of toxic positivity and become better at navigating the full range of what makes us human. Otherwise, we are in denial. Susan David Harvard Psychologist, Linkedin

19.01.2022 This is an invitation to a community conversation where we explore questions in between contexts, stories, silences and whatever else emerges between us. I have heard reference to talking being a waste of time but my experience is that it is a way to vitalise our relationships with each other and our world.
18.01.2022 The Moving Fearlessly Chat Series is committed to hosting conversations that are relevant, important, and speak to the moment we are in. As the world has navigated the changes and realities of a global health pandemic with COVID-19, it has also again become clear that we are in a constant dance with disparities and privilege. How do we share this? What are the potential responses and what are the responsibilities of those with privilege? The team at Wicked Elephants have created a process to share and talk about racism and white privilege - White Out! and we are honoured to have Deb Collins, a member of the collective, share this knowledge with us this week in out 13th chat.

16.01.2022 Our mind works like a computer sometimes holding old and obsolete programs, running in the background and draining our active memory. Our body is an electric system that needs grounding to release the excess of charge. Come to this session to settle your nervous system and to connect with nature - your nature, as part of nature. We are very pleased to host Is Guillemin who will guide us in this process.

10.01.2022 Over the weekend I had so much FUN working with my colleague Debra Driscoll (Story Doula) and six game-changer thought leaders who joined us in the Fearless Zoom Room to participate in our YOUR STORY NOW program. What's Your Story NOW? These days, no one wants to hear a pitch in an elevator. But, we all love a good story.... So, at Fearless Communicators, we came up with a new DIGITAL way to talk about the impact you make in the world. We call it your Signature STITCH. (Get it? Story + Pitch = STITCH!) In Your Story NOW, 6 Fearless Folk give birth to their own 3-5 minute Signature STITCH over the course of an intense weekend. This Wednesday is the showcase & their debut. YOUR STORY NOW!
