07.01.2022 Oliver Gunn is our Young Eagle of the week after fine performance last round. Oliver is another youngster in our Under 12/Rookies team and had an outstanding all round game taking 3/6 with the ball, making 12 runs along with a run out & catch. 06.01.2022 The MCC Masters Blasters crew had their final session this morning with a Maroon v Gold Derby @ Invermay Park. This was followed by a medal presentation & BBQ. Our MB boys & girls were enthusiastic & eager to learn cricket and they look to be young stars of the future. Masters Blasters is the perfect stepping stone for any kids aged 6-9 and plenty of fun. 06.01.2022 We have the 1st of our MCC legend profiles and it’s the much loved Tim Trucka Smith. Although he hasn’t played for many years we still love seeing him around the club. Trucka is much revered not only at the MCC but throughout the NTCA and put simply you just won’t find a better man. Name: Tim Smith... 05.01.2022 Coaching Announcement The MCC would like to announce Clinton Reid as our head coach for season 2021/22. Clinton will help guide our young playing group as we strive for continued success. We’d like to acknowledge and thank Jimmy Storay for his hard work as coach for the last couple of seasons. Jimmy will be stepping down but he’ll play an important role as a player with his leadership & all round abilities. We wish both men all the best for the upcoming season
02.01.2022 Young Eagle of the week is Alex Cassidy. Young Alex is a promising left arm quick who gives them a whack in our U16 team under the tutelage of coach Greg Dwyer. In his most recent game against Westbury Alex scored 20 off 23 balls , had the figures of 2/11 and took a couple of catches in a great all round effort. Good luck for the rest of the season Alex
