20.01.2022 Curious of your thoughts ? Sooo It’s a coolish day & so I decide to park my car in a good position so I can watch my sons footy game ..... Whilst sitting in the car .. A 4wd pulled in along side & the Back passenger door flung open right into my door & of course I heard it before I saw it! I popped out to see if there was damage & to investigate & expected to see an apologetic child There was no apparent damage But instead of an apologetic child, before I could say anything.. The driver wound down her window & asked to exchange details.. Yay honesty But .. The older lady in the back of the car, who would have been the one who did it .. Again ... before I said anything had blurted out that she didn’t do anything?? Remember.. there’s no damage but clearer the driver also heard the bang, as well as the children in the car ! Sooo .. What this Elderly lady actually just did by her actions, was to say it’s ok to lie & not take responsibility or ownership, when convenient.. whilst her.. I assume Grandkids are in the car !! And .. I wonder.. just how upset she will be when they mimic her behaviour & not own up next time they do anything wrong ? How you do anything is how you do EVERYTHING!! It’s easier to just be honest particularly when young children are watching Otherwise... Just what are we teaching our next generation? Yes .. we stuff up & that’s ok but something that really upsets me is the blatant dishonest approach that happened here ! What do you think ?
